$845 for a PS3!!! Hold on to your Euros

The PS3 is coming to Europe and the only one there getting is the 60 gig version, for SRP of $845.00 Damn what where they saying about it being the cheapest way to get a blu-ray player. my connotation tell my feelings but what do you think?

I think it would be cheaper for them to get a US system and have someone import it for them. Lord knows theres plenty of them sitting on the shelves around here.

dam im so glad I bought a 360 I would never be able to afford a ps3

Blu-ray is sony trying to do the same thing they did to betamax and VHS, HD-DVD are better quality cheaper and hold more data so what does that show about Blu-ray?

Actually Blu-ray has HD-DVD on capacity. But you're right about the other points.

I believe that the HD-DVD will probably win out over Blu-ray.

I agree, but I doubt HDDVD will be common use outside of Games and Data, normal DVDs seem to be perfectly fine.

Wow Widescreen review said that HD DVD held more but you're right Blu-Ray holds more, strange that Widescreen would make a mistake like that but it happens :P

Ha. Sony's idea of a direct conversion is to change the symbol before the number.
