I'm sorry to hear that, but I gotta say it is kinda funny and fitting that this happened to your Junkion :P.

They are made of 'junk' after all :).

I can't wait to see your effort to replace him, I'm sure it will be awesome.

Thanks for the supprot, guys.
At least, I learned something this time.

Oh, and that Testor paint left? DUMPED IN THE TRASH, WHERE IT BELONG!

Even the brand new pots. Oil paints can BURN IN HELL! At least, Tamiya water colors will not pull that bullshit on me.

Scrawpsome's successor's is almost done. Only one part need to be glued and screwed in and the whole thing need to be painted. I do hope the final result will be up to Scrapsome's awesomenss.

Yep, oil based paints are bad for plastics. I think it's because plastics are petrolium (oil) based too, so it somehow causes a chemical reaction that dissolves/breaks them down.

I always use Testors Acryllics, but of course those are the equivalent of nail polish so they tend to scratch etc. with too much handling, but for the most part I paint my customs and put them on the shelf in the mode and pose that I like best, so I don't have to worry about wear due to transformation etc.

Okay, now I put some real work in that deluxe.

The Movie old Camaro Bee that I had for sale had to be sacrificed for the cause. Then, many parts of the junk pile were used. Breacher, Classic Starscream, Generation Wheeljack, Ultimate Battle Megatron.

Some heavy cutting was needed. A sharp Exacto is a modder's best friend! I only needed to bolt one part in place. The rest are all blall-joint compatible. And if the ball-joints were not compatible, I made them be.

It's holding itself together okay.

If I could figure out hos to create tabs and pegs, this would be more solid. Also, the front of the "bee" part never stay completely closed. It was like this from the start.
It now have weapons. Old Camaro Bee's to be exact. I hated the missiles so I removed them.

Photobucket is derping right now. So have the vehicle mode in attachments.

Of course, the thing is unpainted for now.

The clear plastic will be painted over. I think maybe painting underneath and leaving the other side unpainted for effects.

And now, the robot mode!

The ball-joints would need crazyglue to be more tight. Still, they are still solid enough for some equilibrium feat.
I consider the "starscream elbow" just a transformation joint and it will never be used for posing.

Same thing for the "starscream knee".

Still attachments.

Just a minor update. I drilled a smal hole on the top of the vehicle so that my spare targetmaster can be his partner.
It work pretty well.

Also, Crazy glue on the ball joints to tighten him up.

Now, only thing left to do is to paint him. With proper paint of course.

By the way, I made some heavy modifications to my Junkion. He now have two minicon/targetmaster partners and a new head I partly sculpted with a knife. I'm broke right now so I cannot buy paints yet. Look for the finished Junkion in around 2 weeks!

You did Breacher's awesome head sculpt proud! I always said the little fella should've been a deluxe! xD

Unfortunately, that head did not really turn on that mismatched balljoint and that head was not "Junkion" enough. So I gave him a brand new head from one of my very first sacrifice for my first real custom, Apetimus Supreme.
So, that spare loose head work perfectly. I just resculpted it a little with a knife and glued on an extra piece.
I'm not revealing the new bot mode yet. I will do only when it will be 100% complete and painted.
Look forward for it in one or two weeks!

--------------------------

By the way, I just scored myself a Beast Machine Vehicon Blastcharge, 100% complete for just 8$ shipped. Some of the metal paint is flaked off but who care. I was not sure about buying it at first. The Plastic Adict made a review of him, saying how much of a piece of trash it is:

I think he missed the piont. Either unknowingly or on purpose. Just look at him and tell me what you see:

What I see here is one rad looking JUNKION! Not only he look the part, but he have the right color scheme! Who said Junkions should just be bikes? And for just 8$ shipped, how can you go wrong?
I had trouble figuring out what color should I paint my custom Junkion.
NOW I KNOW!

I LOVE Blastcharge. I loved him as a kid and I still do! And I've seen TJOmega's review of Blastcharge...but here's the thing; when he hates something, you can tell, it just comes through in his voice. I've watched that review a couple times, but I've never been convinced that he ACTUALLY hates Blastcharge. I just don't hear that loathing when he talks about it. I feel like he was probably being pressed to do a review and couldn't find something, or perhaps was convinced to do a "Plastic Addict" review of it by someone. That's just my take, and maybe I'm wrong, but it just doesn't sound the same as say...Ultra BM Cheetor's review. It's more of an "I just kinda don't like it," review than a "This this is GARBAGE and you should avoid buying it at all costs unless you absolutely HAVE to have it," review.

Sure, Blastcharge has it's issues, but it's not really "Plastic Addict" material. He's average, not particularly good or bad (in general), but he has his fans. :)
