First off, a big thanks to member "City Commander" for putting me on the trail of these via the UK sightings thread :D

It would appear that Irish based retailer "Smyths", has the whole of Wave 1-RTS, available in-store! These are not yet listed on the Website, but I can confirm that they were in plentiful supply on the shelves in the Barnet (North London) branch I hae been into today.

Furthermore, just to add to the awesomeness of this sighting, these were discounted (along with all other deluxes) down to £7.49

This means that you can walk into the store and get the whole wave for under £30!

All are in Euro-packaging, so hopfully will start to filter out to other retailers soon :D

Please let them cross the North Sea, please let them cross the North Sea.

O, have them stay at a discounted €10...

Pretender Skywarp also reports these figures (as seen above) are in full EU packaging, so expect to see more Reveal the Shield figures in the UK and Europe soon!

I actually breathed a sigh of relief  I worry that Hasbro forgets about the UK

Good for the UK, I managed to find Jazz yesterday and he's a sweet figure, glad you guys get to enjoy some TF love pretty much at the same time as it shows up in the states. Sadly it doesn't always happen that way.

YEEEEEEEEESSSS! After looking at Jazz and Tracks online I wouldn't have been able to bear it if they never made it over here! Although I'm out of range of Smyths :( but hopefully The Entertainer and Toys R Us will get plenty in stock. Thank god these guys are in wave 1! I now just hope that the UK will get as far as Wheeljack too...

Its a shame that the Smyths online webstore groups products by their class so you cannot select which figure you want, seems you might just get a random from that class. Not that the web store lists the reveal the shield figures. The nearest store is about an hour away and its not worth the drive to save a couple of ££ per figure, would use more than that in petrol. So I shall wait for them to arrive in the local stores. Good news though.

Funny thing, I never used to be that interested in Deluxe class figures, Voyager was where my interest started but the Deluxes have come along a long way in a couple of years and their complexity is increasing. WFC Prime is a good example of some clever thinking.

That is very possibly the fault of Hasbro themselves, I'll quote Miscreant of the 2005 boards who spotted something interesting...

Miscreant wrote:Having had a look at barcodes, i noticed something that might explain why.

My BB Bumblebee (Euro packaging) Has 5 010994 503154 on the bar code.

My Axor even though it's from a different wave (BBBB was bought long before Wave 4 was released)
has the exact same number on the bar code.

In fact, Even Tracks and Jazz both have that same bar code number. Even though it's a different subline.

Compare this to (US) packaged Tomahawk and Terradive

Tomahawk 6 53569 51638
Terradive 6 5369 51369

Looking at an Oil Pan, Brimstone, and Hubcap i bought in Tesco a while back, they all have the same bar code number as each other too.

It's not necessarily impossible for them to distinguish them, but when every product has the same bar code, it's a fair bit harder.

EDIT: Is this uniform barcoding why Hasbro UK can never tell us what exactly is coming?

Having checked mine, I can confirm this too. In fact, all of my EU Wave 1 Generations figs have the same barcode, but my US sourced Wave 2 & 3 all have individual ones... :-?
