I was surprised to see them still in stores the other day O_o Didn't they do a pretty big sale on ROTF during the Holidays? TRU must have an entire warehouse full of these guys for them to still be sitting, regular price, in the stores.

How many different versions of movie Bumblebee have they made now? How many different ones could anyone possibly need?

Ye must have zem all! Make-ith ze Bumblebee army and take over ze toy stores!

Then maybe we'll actually see figures that won't put such a fierce strangle hold on the shelves. These toy stores really need to pay attention to their stock and not order more Bee's when they have enough to fill several pegs already :/ Probably a corporate thing though, which sucks.

Watch the video further down the pages linked above! She says they have "easy to move parts" but you'll notice she can't transform them! Especially that darned twin.

How has Toys'R'us not failed yet?
They keep sub-par shelfwarmers in stock for 2-3 years after their release for full price.

This is why I never go to Toys'R'us.

Walmart & Target forever!

1). Toys R Us also carry exclusive figures, most notable of which are the TFA Arcee and Rodimus figures a few years back.

2). Yes, their price points are usually higher than Target or Wal-Mart, but TRU also has sales every now and then, giving them comparable prices or a bit less.

I agree that ROTF figures need to be set at clearance prices by now. Make room for TF Prime and new Generations/Fall of Cybertron lines.

I have to say I was a little bit excited that I finally found my ROTF Dead End after stupidly passing on him the only time I saw him in stoes at TRU about a week ago! lol

i had been wondering about these, whenever i saw them online, why they hadnt gone to clearance yet
i understand funds need to be recouped, but this is grasping for strands
same sentiment with the TF crossovers from Marvel at 20 bucks, come on now

Was it Burger King that had the deal with Paramount for the TF's movie, or at least the last one? Didn't McDonald's have a deal with TF's overseas? I think one of the 2 should make a deal with TRU buy out all these figs at rock bottom prices and give them away in kids meals. It would be a cruel joke indeed if they couldn't even give the damn things away.

And for figs like these I think I would call them "shelfburners" cause they are waaaaay past their warming stage...'nuff said! :)) :VEHI:
