Do you have Verizon Fios? Do you want to know what's going to happen in the opening episode of Transformers Prime season 2? Well then you are in luck! There is a 12 minute preview of the opening episode: Orion Pax part 1. Want spoilers? Caution below!

Episode starts with same opening sequence as 1st season

Episode opens with Ratchet telling others that it stands to reason that without the wisdom of the matrix, Optimus has lost himself.

The key card Jack was given by Prime before he faced off with Unicron (OP contingency plan) provides access to Vector Sigma and the wisdom of the Primes. Now only Jack can bring Optimus back.

Optimus has reverted back to the archivist Orion Pax

Megatron tells Orion that the warlord Ratchet, the Doctor of Doom, careless actions has caused Cybertron to be in its current state. He says that they are Earth to protect the planet from befalling the same fate as Cybertron

Megatron states to Kncokdown that when they stormed the Iacon Hall of Records during the waning days of the war for Cybertron, the Decepticons were able to acquire certain files. Only the integration of Orion Pax gives us the opportunity to decipher these encrypted Autobot files.

Megatron had Soundwave sanitize the data core so Prime does not find any sensitive files that may clue him in to who he really is.

Unfortunately, Vector Sigma is on Cybertron. Ratchet begins work to turbo charge the ground bridge reach Cybertron.

Project Iacon: (The term used for what Megatron has Orion doing at his workstation) Orion is rusty, but he decodes three things that are possibly coordinates....He believes they were notes targeting locations on Earth. Could be ships (foreshadowing new TFs??). Orion says his greatest fear is that they are locations for Weapons of mass destruction

A few lines I liked....

"Agent Fowler yells at Ratchet "Hold up, You mean there is a microchip in my butt that tells the government when I stop for donuts, but your telling me you can't just track Prime?"

Megatron commenting on Orion's arrival in general population...."The first Decepticon who refers to our guest as "Optimus Prime".. will have their voice box torn out."

Knockout to Orion when he is etching his Decepticon symbol...."Welcome back to the winning team."

Now that it's been news'd, I have one question. HOW DO I WATCH THIS?!

I've been searching through Fios On Demand trying to find it, but haven't found it at all. Can someone who's more savvy with Fios figure this out and help find it?

Cool. That'll be of big help to those who don't have Fios.

Though, the first six minutes are on YouTube, but none of the remaining six minutes, and in low quality (recorded by an iPhone).

I loved the noticeable uses of "Exodus" and "War for Cybertron" by Megatron, as a means to further enhance the connections between them and this show. :-B

eeeeeee.
That was great for the TFP fix, but now I'm excited for next week!

I like how they keep the DCon logo visible in that last shot. It's just so weird to see it on him. :D (speaking of which, I've had folks ask me where Cons like Knockout and Breakdown have their insignias? :P)

A 12-minute clip is a "preview"?

That's half of the episode!

I'm gonna scram now or else I'm gonna be tempted to read those spoilers or click on a link! I want to wait for the premiere.

I'm guessing the scene with the insignia means we're going to see a repaint of Optimus called Orion Pax with the insignia.

Oh, it's not that much. It's more "talking" than "doing". Nothing too major.

At most, the best thing about this clip is how beautifully scripted the dialogue is.

Great preview! Can't wait for the new series to start.

Anyone else notice Orion using the name 'Megatron' rather than 'Megatronus'? I guess it's just an error.

Well, perhaps Megatron got him up to speed on his current name. And, honestly, it makes more sense for Orion to call him "Megatron", since the two did not first converse with each other until shortly after Megatronus shortened his name to "Megatron". Orion never knew him personally as "Megatronus". It wasn't until after Megatronus became Megatron that the two first ever even spoke to each other.

But that doesn't mean much. It was a "War for Cybertron" and there was an "exodus" from Cybertron. In this continuity, in G1 continuity, in WFC continuity, in Movie Continuity, etc, etc. Not much other words you can use to describe it as well as the words that actually describe it.

It's called fanwank. Those are nods to the game and book. They're trying to work more connections between the two eras. We've seen this already with Fall of Cyebrtron and Exiles, and with the "One Shall Rise" three-parter. This is just more of it.
