Wow, I wish. I don't have the kind of money it would take to buy this thing sadly, but Barricade is totally my dream car and has been since I saw him for the first time in the previews for the '07 film.

Considering Barricades popularity, i wonder how much a Optimus Prime Truck would go for on a auction

Well, considering that people are more familiar with Bumblebee than Prime, and that there's really no reason to get that kind of truck, only the most die-hard crazy fan would take that chance. Plus, that thing would probably be a gas guzzler, and with gas prices rising, the best thing you could do with a truck that size is have it on display in your front yard for all jealous neighbors to see.

There's really no reason to own any of the movie cars other than "I want it". In most states you wouldn't be able to drive the Barricade around legally with the light bar mounted.
As far as prime being a gas guzzler, when one spends the money that a semi cost, (especially a movie vehicle), gas mileage is an afterthought and isn't going to be considered. And if one is concerned, then your not buying the vehicle for the right reasons.

On topic, I'd love to have this car, but the fact that they removed the super charger really kills it for me. :-( . Nothing like the roar of a V8 with the whine of a supercharger to go with it!

I think that as long as you cover the police markings and do not use the lightbar, you could drive it legally. The lightbar and bullbar *might* be illegal in some states/cities, but I think for the most part you'd be OK.

You would have to grow a big mustache to drive it, though.

you might as well go buy a brand new mustang rather then buy this and make all those cosmetic alterations. like I said a really expensive paperweight.

The push bumper is leagal in all states, but you might get tagged for having the lightbar up there even if its not on. Some states have laws that allow equipment mounted if its for historical or "prop" cars. Regardless, your right that the "Police" on the side would have to be covered.

True, but then it wouldn't be one of the actual movie cars. People don't buy these as daily drivers. They buy them because there part of movie history.
