That's a very optimistic way to look at it. On the other hand, you could be like Luther Van Damme me, and say that the movie line is polluting Generations and will spell its ultimate demise.

At least two of them have been decoded. "Adrian" is Galvatron and "Ivan" is Grimlock.

Something I'd like to bring up that Arcee's product number is very different than any of the other listings in terms of formatting. It's entirely possible that this is an aborted listing; perhaps when Generations Arcee was hinted at back in 2011, which turned out to be TF: Prime's Arcee. Time will tell I suppose, I think Toy Fair is in February so we'll get more info then.

If it's survived this long alongside, or underfoot of Bay's movies, I'm fairly confident that it'll continue to give us non-movie-lovers something to look forward to.

WOw. Just...wow. I am going to have to work some extra hours for this. Glad I just bought a new house with a 1800 sq foot finished basement/man cave that I can put the collection in. Wow.

Don't remember hearing that at the panel.

I don't see it in Ryan's notes, TFW2005's notes, or my notes.

Maybe they were speaking of Windblade. After all, Ultra Magnus won the Hall of Fame too.

It'd be just as easy to say, "Optimus Prime gets 4-5 molds per year, during a Recession". I think it's obvious we'd see more Optimi if the economy was booming!

Actually, if the economy were booming, we'd be seeing a lot more variation in figures and new characters instead of so many repaints/slight remolds. That's one of the reasons why I was so surprised by Sandstorm.

You're absolutely correct about that. I was being a little ironic and ignorant on purpose (subtle comedy). But then again, never underestimate bad decisions. Theoretically, if the economy improved dramatically, we have no guarantee that Hasbro would clean house, so there's a strong possibility that the same Hasbro idiot who started this BB/Optimus fetish would continue it well into the next decade. After all, this exec could argue, the company profits improved while selling so many BBs and Optimi, and that therefore it was essential to continue this "winning" strategy into the next decade!
Unless the BB/Optimus strategy is working and I don't see it, the situation has less to do with the economy and more to do with the idiots in charge.

I can't think of a figure more deserving, despite my desperate cries for a new G1 Scorponok mold. I'd love to see Generations give us new Beast Wars figures, and I'd much prefer Megs without Grimlock's body frame; it really is drastically different from his Season 2 Transmetal, which I assume is what they're attempting to emulate.

Of the flurry of new molds listed, I think the most likely suspects are the ones who appear on multiple lists. Ergo, Leader Class Jetfire and Megatron, repainted movie molds just like Ironhide and Starscream last year. A redeco of Starscream's Legends figure? Inevitable anyway.

As for the new Generations deluxes and voyagers, I think 1 additional wave is possible before we get overwhelmed with a deluge of new movie figures. And that'd be... Whirl, Crosscut, Tankor, Rattrap, and Nightbeat. Right between Wave 2 in Jan/Feb and Age of Extinction in May.

While I'd love to see Roadbuster, Brainstorm, Arcee, Hardhead, and especially Jhiaxus... I just don't see how Hasbro can realistically bring these figures in during that limited gap. While it's possible that they'll run both lines concurrently, they'd also be running with Rescue Bots and the terrifying simplified deluxes of Beast Hunters. Too many lines at once.

So judging by the Rattrap and movie Strafe reveals/leaks it looks like this list they found is legit....

Still curious what Jetfire is, I don't follow the comics, but he isn't a big IDW character right now right?

Also there was some movie listing that are called "Then And Now" I wonder if that means we get some chug updates to DInobots, or maybe Optimus and the Dinobots change alt modes during the movie. Maybe Optimus goes from his rusty g1 truck in the movie to his new "dragon slayer" form and maybe the Dinobots go from a 2 headed monster Strafe to an actual g1 robot pteranodon?
