well, Airachnid is either a brand new character, or a reworking of Blackarachnia, so I don't see why they couldn't use Rampage, or a new Rampage-like character.

I don't have an issue with the time frame. I just don't think x would side with anyone, he would just love to torture everyone. con, bot, pred, or maximal(does that have a shortened form?) he just wants to cause pain.

Lockdown - Introduce an element allowing for a lot of versatile storylines

Skywarp - i <3 purple and black. and the show just needs some more life in the decepticon ranks than vehicons and insecticons.

Rumble or Barricade or Crankcase - I'd have either as a spy on the ground, providing intelligence on the autobots/humans and ensuring the cons are out of sight of human authorities. I think you do kind of have to make a reason for why a decepticon is not a plane.

Pretty obvious for me... The combaticons! They were so cool, I mean 5 smaller robots that transform into a killing machine! I hope they come soon, but that may not happen, oh well I guess their reapperence on FOC made me remember them .

In the Movies he was made of 7 Decepticons (Long Haul, Scavenger, Scrapper, Overload, Hightower, Rampage, and Mixmaster)

But in G1, he was made of 6 Decepticons (Long Haul, Scavenger, Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Hook, and Mixmaster)

Point being, you could just take Hook out of the picture and have Devastator be a 5-man-team.

oops, curse my poor transformers memory, I mistook Hook's back end for another Constructicon! But I didn't know that ROTF Devastator had 7 Constructicons.

Well, the toy doesn't, but the in-movie Devastator has 7. But in reality, there are really more than 7, counting the Constructicon drones and the extra Constructicons used to make Devastator "bigger" during transformation. So there are really 7,000 Constructicons in the films.
