I'm sticking with Firetrap or RotF Brawn as my Generations Brawn substitute until such time as Hasbro makes a decent one or Hell freezes over, whichever comes first.
This...thing...that Hasbro has concocted is quite simply f***ing lazy and so stupid it's not even joke worthy.

I wouldn't call this lazy, with a new head. It's a minor step up from lazy, but only minor.

The head and the body... it's not Brawn. Not to me. if it comes over stateside, I probably won't pick it up. Like I'm not getting their Springer.

Hench for me. That is Brawn.

I’m not sure why you consider a new head sculpt to be lazy.
A straight repaint would be lazy, calling the character a name that has a weaker visual identity could arguably be considered lazy (Powerdive, while lovely, contained very little Powerdive for instance and few people minded).

Sure, Brawn may not work as Brawn (I’ll reserve my opinion until in hand photos surface) but to call it lazy is incredibly unfair.

But honestly, call this the straw, because to hell with this forum.

I’m honestly not sure how everyone summons such vehement hatred for anything produced post circa 1988 on a daily basis and I’m honestly not sure why the loudest and more obnoxious fans feel quite so entitled and deserving of Hasbros undivided attention, especially considering just how loud and obnoxious they are but the bile that comes from this forum is inexcusable.
Not everything Hasbro produce is pure gold but the way this forum reacts is just embarrassing when you consider that behind the keyboards are not 12 year olds but chaps in their middle ages with 12 year olds.

Yes, you have opinions and I’m sure it’s a lovely and unique snowflake of a thing but take a deep breath before posting, considers maybe, that this limited release retool is not the worst thing to happen to your family, that Hasbro is not threating to drown a loved one unless you make the purchase and show an ounce of **** class before responding.

But like I say, my toys have long exited the pram, so carry on.

That's this fandom for ya. Half of us are stuck in the past and treat every new thing as a direct insult. It's best to ignore them, they don't respond to things like logic or reason.

I do think the head doesn't match the body. Just like that Cliffjumper and G2 Megatron, it's a completely different aesthetic and they don't work together. It's like putting a baby's head on an adult body.

the irony is that is the reason i like these exclusive. they are things that normally don't go together but for some reason, they work for me. a samurai g2 megatron, how can people hate that :???: as for brawn, as i stated before...so strange i love it and will buy on sight.

my guess is some people prefer to have certain things. given that i love strange things, i'm not too picky. For the people who are complaining about it not being a "classic" brawn, there is only one way to solve this... don't call it a classic brawn. Label it a retro/oddity in the tf universe. ;)^

I bought the first 4 deluxe figures and when I first seen them I'm looked at cliffjumper and was like WTF is that. But I've learned that the way you look at a figure changes once in hand and now I actually really like the GDO cliffjumper. And I think the only reason he looks funny at first is because we are so used to seeing that body with TRP FE cliffjumper but once you can see past that version of him while looking at the GDO version he becomes a pretty nice figure. And I love the quote about half the fandom being stuck in the past and everything new is an insult it's so true and sad.

In the words of Mr. Horse, "No sir, I don't like it"

I say upper management was stuck at work Friday night and wasn't allow to leave unless a decision was made about Brawn, so after order pizza and beer and moooooore beer, this is what Hasbro has put on the table for us?

I'm sorry but I really don't like this version of brawn because the head just doesn't go with the body of tf prime bulkhead they should keep the head but make a new body mold for him because it just doesn't look good for him :BOT:

If they had to do this damn silly thing why couldn't they have used the Cyberverse Bulkhead body woth a Brawn head and a proper paint job - the size would be right and it would be less of a sore-thumb job than this lazy-ass pointlessness..........

Who here agree that this version of brawn is a bad idea and agrees that they should place the head on a new mold that should be created for him? let me know who agrees and disagrees i wont argue with your opinions but if you disagree tell me why? if you agree let me know why aswell? and finally my opinion still stands keep his head and create a new and better mold that suits his character.
This is Equinox234 asking for your pinion on TF Prime Brawn. :BOT:

As someone mentioned over on Facebook, pop the head off this one and replace with Bulkheads and you have your self a Voyager Beast Hunters Bulkhead! ;)

I would be more interested in the Brawn head sculpt being used elsewhere.
As the head seems really small on this Voyager, perhaps it would be better suited on the Deluxe Beast Hunters Bulkhead mold, giving you an ok Classics Brawn!

Well, 90% of movies nowadays are terrible remakes, so why not put a different head on a toy and call it something else. I get it.

sucks though.

He was supposed to be released along with the other GDO ones, but he got nixed and had his space filled with a second Megatron.

You know, I'm starting to think it's a bit of a miscommunication. What if he was released in Asia after all, but canceled in the US? :-?
