A different kind of Bruticus

We've all seen the new FOC Bruticus stock photo, which met with mixed reactions. And people are comparing it to Fansproject's Crossfire combiner, which does look nice.

However, take a gander at this.

Found this image on TFWiki. Not my combo, but still pretty epic looking.

This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.

 Truly, truly.

Too bad I just don't have an extra set to try this one and the legs combo seems need some certain angle to support the super heavy upper body.

Personally I would have made the colours symmetrical to let it look more appealing.

It's also more expensive than a FP Bruticus.

Looks pretty cool, but looks quite unstable. Besides the extra set of the rotf limbs means there's a remaining onslaught just doing nothing.

People underestimate the energon bruticus set.

There seem to be two Onslaughts used. The first one's legs are used as the gestalt's legs. The second one's legs are used as shoulder cannons.

It's pretty damn creative - I may try this. No idea how some of it fits but I'll try......

Yes, given the prices I doubt many people will look for the extra set just to try this! It does look imposing though. I wonder how good the arm/shoulder articulation is.

Wow it looks nice, but it seems that the legs are not connected firmly.. After seeing this picture, I kinda missed my original bruticus head

Tried It myself going off the pictures.

I don't have enough parts to make a complete one since I only own the Energon Version, but I did try the limbs one at a time to see just how sturdy it is. The leg is pretty firm for the most part. The weak spot is the pegs from the hand accessory that plug into the feet of the helicopter component aren't that tight. The pegs that connect to the fists from the tank mode, peg in quite tightly on mine

Here's my foot attempt:
