I Havn't been for a while, and that sucks.
Anyhow, my question is this. Why did Sam's boss get so mad about the red cup on the yellow floor, when he had fiery red pictures of himself on the shelves behind him? I Don't think it only applied to yellow cups, but everything, so why get so mad about it if he was disobeying his own rules? He should have let it slide...

Yeah, and Shockwave could have put up a better fight, Starscream could have had a better death, and Optimus could have actually combined with his trailer. :P

In hindsight, it was probably just a creative mishap. Like the above mentioned.

Boils down to he was a crappy and stupid character who didn't warrant the type of talent Malkovich brings to the table. They could easily have used some no name person for this pathetic character.

It was supposed to be 'funny', just as Malkovich's character was supposed to be the 'hilarious' quintessential self-absorbed, micro-managing boss from hell. To be honest, I still think all the office stuff was well done and I do find it quite amusing when viewed as stand-alone office humour all by itself. I also think that it doesn't mesh well with the tone of the overall plotline and comes off in the end as pitfifully obvious padding more than anything else.

I dunno... Maybe it was stuck in there for Dilbert fans...
