I have not updated this in awhile, so here are new pics. I thought I could buy a new bookcase exclusively for my Classics (and other classic themed pieces), it was not big enough.... Anyways, here is the updated room of plastic happiness:

Sorry that was so long. I have my favorites, but all my Transformers have a story. I have 3 closets of boxes and about 100 MISB figures not currently on display. EVERYTHING, but my G1's are complete with box. There is a set of KO Protectabots up there, but they are being phased out as you read this. Thanks for looking!

Impressive isn't a good enough word to describe this collection. If there was something better than awesome, I'd use that. But I can't think of anything yet so I'll stick with awesome.

Completely awesome collection. And I agree; lose the bed.

WHERE HAVE ALL THE COWS GONE?????

I have seen this collection personally in my travels. I must say the pictures do not do it justice.
No matter what kind of day you have had...This is a room that any transformers fan can go into and feel a little happier . Although I must ask.

Did you really have to open them all? :BANG_HEAD:

Nice collection man. Sorry about the cows Mo.

Wow, what an epic room!!

Your wife is very lucky to have a room like that in the house. I showed your pics to my wife and she kinda rolled her eyes and said "my oh my, is this what you aspire...?" I just smiled at her

Thankyou! Both for your compliment and for the support. I'm considering an anti-spare bed petition.

Wow. Thanks alot guys. You know I was a little embarrassed to post my collection unless I had a Fort Max. It means alot to hear nice things from serious fans. Again, thankyou for the support in my anti spare bed campaign. Together we can rid ourselves of unnecessary furniture!

HEY HEY Whatup Flatrock?! I KNEW you were gonna have to say something about opened boxes, I KNEW IT!! You have got to be the only transformers collector that looses sleep for a week if they open a figure! You couldn't even open the KO mini max I sent you!!

But Mo says the cows are safe..... for now.

Friend I am extremely lucky. My wife is smart, supportive, funny and hot. She lets me have this little hobby and my little room. I hope everyone's wife/girlfriend/mate encourages them to collect, display and love these little plastic pieces of crack.

Maybe you can compromise with the wife: instead of removing the bed, you just put Transformers sheets and bedding on it. :D

That would work. OR... I can leave the spare bedroom entirely and the Transformers can migrate to our living room, which is MUCH bigger. What a great idea Fox. I'll tell her you said so.

Thanks man. I wish I could get her to see what is so obvious to everyone else. The bed must go. Especially since I just added more shelves to include my new G1 Overlord, Reflector, Monstructor, RTS and several third party pieces. Maybe I'll update these pics...... :D

I'm a little jealous. My entire collection was packed up before I left on my mission and I'm just not in a position to open everything up and get it on display again due to stuff that is beyond my control. I'm hoping I can do that soon though.

Anyways, it's a sweet collection and made me want to pull mine out so badly, but family comes first so I'll occupy myself with whatever is on store shelves.

I saw you made a post about being embarassed that you don't have a Fort Max. Don't be! I've been at this for 20 years (Yes, I've been collecting since I was a year old. Literally) and I still don't have him. Logic tells me that getting one in my current position would be downright irresponsible in my current financial state. At the same time, I find myself dropping cash on so many other figures that he's one of those figures that I'll get to eventually as I'd rather have my disposable funds go towards other goodies.

Anyways, cool collection. I'm am a little annoyed with you though because it makes me want to see my stuff so badly since I haven't messed with it in 19 months. :BANG_HEAD:

So the military or your faith has your collecting hands tied? Either way, as an American Christian, thank you for either one.

Listen buddy, I know the feeling. When I first got married (I did not have half of this stuff, total win = my wife). We moved out of a crap apartment and had to live...here we go... with my mom for like 6 weeks until our new place was ready. Yes it was that bad. But i had EVYERTHING in boxes and could not unpack even after we moved in until later. Take comfort in knowing that your collection will be there. Plus, its not getting exposure to light or smoke or 3 year olds, which means it is safe. No need to be jealous, a collection is what you make of it.

As far as Fort Max goes...I finally got one. Complete, white and just as cool as I had always hoped. Depressingly Monstructor is a let down.

Sorry I should have clarified. I served a mission for my church. My collection ended up being catalogued and boxed while I was away in Idaho so my grandmother could come live with us after the passing of my grandpa.

It does comfort me to know that my collection is safe from the elements. I just look forward to when I can bust them out. If you look at my collection thread, you'll get an idea of what I've got.

For now, I'll collect that I can and add them to the rest of the crew later.

Yeah, Monstructor is a let down. I had always wanted one until I saw one up close at Botcon 2009. It's barely the size of G1 Hot Rod and to me, $600 is ridiculous for that figure. Again, another figure in which I find to be ridiculously overrated for the value. I probably won't buy one until I reach a point in which the purchase would go from financially irresponsible to a way of treating myself without blowing a hole into my wallet.

BTW, BW figures look amazing in large groups. You might want to invest in at least the show characters. I think you'd enjoy them.
