I'm a little jealous. My entire collection was packed up before I left on my mission and I'm just not in a position to open everything up and get it on display again due to stuff that is beyond my control. I'm hoping I can do that soon though.

Anyways, it's a sweet collection and made me want to pull mine out so badly, but family comes first so I'll occupy myself with whatever is on store shelves.

I saw you made a post about being embarassed that you don't have a Fort Max. Don't be! I've been at this for 20 years (Yes, I've been collecting since I was a year old. Literally) and I still don't have him. Logic tells me that getting one in my current position would be downright irresponsible in my current financial state. At the same time, I find myself dropping cash on so many other figures that he's one of those figures that I'll get to eventually as I'd rather have my disposable funds go towards other goodies.

Anyways, cool collection. I'm am a little annoyed with you though because it makes me want to see my stuff so badly since I haven't messed with it in 19 months. :BANG_HEAD:

So the military or your faith has your collecting hands tied? Either way, as an American Christian, thank you for either one.

Listen buddy, I know the feeling. When I first got married (I did not have half of this stuff, total win = my wife). We moved out of a crap apartment and had to live...here we go... with my mom for like 6 weeks until our new place was ready. Yes it was that bad. But i had EVYERTHING in boxes and could not unpack even after we moved in until later. Take comfort in knowing that your collection will be there. Plus, its not getting exposure to light or smoke or 3 year olds, which means it is safe. No need to be jealous, a collection is what you make of it.

As far as Fort Max goes...I finally got one. Complete, white and just as cool as I had always hoped. Depressingly Monstructor is a let down.

Sorry I should have clarified. I served a mission for my church. My collection ended up being catalogued and boxed while I was away in Idaho so my grandmother could come live with us after the passing of my grandpa.

It does comfort me to know that my collection is safe from the elements. I just look forward to when I can bust them out. If you look at my collection thread, you'll get an idea of what I've got.

For now, I'll collect that I can and add them to the rest of the crew later.

Yeah, Monstructor is a let down. I had always wanted one until I saw one up close at Botcon 2009. It's barely the size of G1 Hot Rod and to me, $600 is ridiculous for that figure. Again, another figure in which I find to be ridiculously overrated for the value. I probably won't buy one until I reach a point in which the purchase would go from financially irresponsible to a way of treating myself without blowing a hole into my wallet.

BTW, BW figures look amazing in large groups. You might want to invest in at least the show characters. I think you'd enjoy them.

Well, the truth is that I can't control myself. In most cases I free them from their boxes the moment I get them home.

A lot of them were repacked shortly before those pics. The stuff you seen on my bed was laid out and then photographed before it was packed and put back into boxes or storage bins.

I try to keep the boxes to everything so that I have a way to store them comfortably during long periods of time.

When I can set up my collection my sealed stuff will be opened and displayed.

So yeah, FREE THEM FROM THEIR CARDBOARD PRISONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks man! I've seen your fleet of Seekers! Awesome stuff! Seems like you got on board for Botcon at the right time. I can't believe EVERTHING sold out so fast! Hit some of the hotel rooms up before the sales floor opens. I got some outstanding deals in dealers rooms before

Thanks man. The Mindwipe minions are neat, I threw a little paint on 'em to give them some uniqueness. I'm not at all surprised you noticed them, Mindwipe is kinda your guy right? The Vinyl is DJ Nebulan and Dez Drastic. Techno DJ buddy of mine from Tampa said I had to have it. It's actually Decepticonz Records! As far as Bugly...hmm..That Skywarp is as good as anything I can think of.

Yea, that extra paint makes them look great together.
That vinyl sounds very interesting... I wish I could hear it somehow, haha.

I do have a set of pair of tables. I've been meaning to record some Vinyl over to MP3. If I ever get around to it, I'll be sure to hook you up. Hope you like intelligent breaks and Drum n Bass. I'm more of an epic trance type myself, but the record looks cool :D

F'eh bro, that'd be dope. I'm ALL about the dnb, haha. Not really into trance, but I like some trancey bigbeat (ie the rave scene in the first Blade movie)

Poor Backstop. All his buddies are in robot mode but he's stuck in rhino mode.

Also, I had no idea they actually made a toy of train Optimus Prime! What's it called and where did you get it!?

Backstop is just too silly looking to be in bot mode, although the generations Backstop on the top of the classics shelf is in bot mode, but not so noticeable. :D

The train Prime: KM 01 Knight Morpher! I love this guy! I suppose it's a variation of Hearts of Steel Optimus. Robotkingdom.com is where I got mine. They have a black version, but it has gold highlights that look a little cheesy IMO. Coolest thing about this prime, for me, is the cannon on the "trailer" comes apart and forms a lance. That, coupled with the shield looks EPIC!!

Thanks for looking.

I don't have the entire room....yet. I've taken over about 3/4's of it. I've been working on getting a bed out of there for about 3 years. I think I'm getting close! :D If it doesn't happen soon, I'm moving into a 3 bedroom!

Fill her head with information about beds retaining bed bugs and all sorts of germs from being old. But you'll need to inject it subconciously into her daily motions... perhaps pamphlets in the washroom, splicing in subliminal images into her favourite movies, and the classic, box of chocolates that, once eaten fully, reveals a photo of this:
