Terrible grievous news. Very sad .. I feel I cannot offer anymore that what has already been said. A heart attack at 31? It seems far, farr too young.

I posted pretty much the same thing in the thread at Transtopia, but I'll share my thoughts here as well:

I try to keep up with TF news daily, and ever since I got into this subculture [kitbashing] of Transformers, I have really made a diligent effort to keep up with each of you guys and your work. "Good" or "bad" are subjective to me with this method; I just care about each of your works and to offer my help when I can.

This is how I initially got in contact with TFM. We started talking through IMs and e-mail. I was glad to ask for advice and he was glad to share. I tend to stay pretty busy, but if and when he had anything he needed done, I was more than glad to do it. I made the "Kitbash of the Year" sig for him and the site and I ran several errands on a graphic design level for him personally. I was always (and continue to be) glad to help.

As I said, I try to keep up with TF news daily and each of your work. This kind of news is the sort I don't want to learn. I was hoping to be able to meet him at a future Botcon (as we talked about this in our conversations). We had thrown around ideas of getting T-shirts made for a "Team Transtopia" type thing for Botcon . . . like Ryan said, TFM had a lot of great ideas for Transtopia. TFM was very glad to have befriended you, Ryan.

Many of us at Transtopia were skeptical of the integration of this site to Seibertron, but TFM convinced me early that it would be a good thing. I still believe that. When TFM came to me and offered me administration privilages on the site, I just felt honored. My contribution to the actual site of Transtopia has been minimal (mostly due to time and other obligations), but my commitment to do what I can for the site and anything here at Seibertron will still stand. This site and community/subculture of Transformers was very important to TFM. TFM's contribution to this cannot be understated. Not only was TFM committed to TF kitbashing and the subculture/community, but he was committed to the idea that TF kitbashing is ART. This idea in itself is one of the reasons I feel he and I had a respect for one another.

My tribute to TFM will come in each of my future customs beyond this point. His work continues to inspire me (as you all do). I'm very thankful and blessed to have been able to call myself his friend. Bill, you will be missed by us on many levels. My expression of that will be to continue my customs work, to grow and learn from it, and to continue to contribute to the TF kitbashing community.

Lauren and Racheal: I will be in prayer for each of you and also as you continue as a family. May God confort and hold you though this difficult time.

Damn, he was truly a god among kitbashers.......and he seemed like a pretty cool guy to be friends with. its a shame he had to depart so early, and leave so much. best wishes to his family

Man..... It's one thing to lose your dad when your adult in a situation where such a thing is a possibility (it's like 4 years ago for me last December 2); I can't even begin to imagine what this little guy's going through, having it happen suddenly like this.

I did not know Bill that well apart for the short time he was on the staff here and even then we only communicated once or twice. I really wish I could have gotten to know him better.

Ryan called me about 4:30 this morning with the news and I was shocked. I could not go back to sleep. I just stayed in my bad thinking about what his wife and son must be going through. I am not the most religious person in the world, but I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

TFMaster you will not be forgotten. RIP.

I never knew him. I never heard of him. However, it does hurt when someone in the fan community is lost. My sympathies to his family.

Damn it. I didn't see this one coming... I'm in shock really. He was one of the many I was really, really looking forward to meeting this year at Botcon. It's remarkable how, even though you've never met someone, you are still able to feel such remorse. I honestly went to Transtopia just as much as I come here. I was amazed by all of his Kitbashes. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and son. Lauren and Racheal, If you happen to read this, know that you have a very large amount of the fandom wishing you and yours the very best and all the support we can muster.

Rest In Peace TFMaster. I'm dedicating my St. Patties day to you.

While I can not even imagine how terrible this is for his wife and son, I really feel sorry for those of you who were never able to meet him. While I know this is no consolation, Bill lived more in his 31 years than most people who survive into their 90's.

I don't know what I can add to this thread that hasn't already been said.

RIP Bill, We'll all miss you.

I never knew or met him. My sincerest condolences go to his family and all that knew him.

God Bless him and his family. I hope that one day we will all join you in the Matrix. I did my first kitbash this weekend, after looking at one of his online. He would have loved it.

I gave a little bit to the fund. Enough for him to start a great kitbash. Just think think of what he could have done.


I never meet the man but appreciated his art. Anyone who can craft the genius that is that Menasor deserved much more time. He was one of those guys that Hasbro should have hired on the spot.

I hope my contribution takes a little bit of stress off the families' back. They need time to grieve and not worry about the stupid financial burdens...

Man, so sorry to hear this.

I never really knew him, though I thoroughly enjoyed seeing what he did with his custom work. Seeing these pics, he seemed like a really great guy.

My warmest condolences go out to his wife and son, and rest of family. He'll never be forgotten.

This makes me incredibly sad. He was and is one of the greatest Artists i have ever seen. I did not know him on a personal level, but i was hoping to meet him at a BotCon. He was the primary inspiration for me to get into kitbashing and repainting. I feel like i have lost a close friend. My thoughts, love, and best wishes go out to his wife and son. TF Master, you will be sorely missed, but your spirit will live on in our community. Thank you for all your inspiration.
