3D printing technology has come leaps and bounds in the last few years. A company called Brave Robotics has created a fully transforming, radio controlled robot using their 3D printing technology. Who knows, maybe in the not-so-distant future Hasbro will simply offer TF schematics and software for sale that collectors would download and we would simply 'print' our figures at home!
