The video with Cullen and Welker was great. It was really cool to see Frank getting in on the action like that. His voice at the end of the clip did sound a bit aged, though, and I'm actually kind of glad that he's not playing Megatron so he can bring his great talents to one of the other bots. I can't wait for this and the movie to come out!

that is some great stuff... ive never really heard Welker talk "normal", sounds just like Fred and Ray. Yeah theyve gotten older but they still sound great.

Why have Welker be in the game, but not in the movie as the voice of Megatron? Doesnt make sense

So Welker is good enough for the game but not the movie? Michael Bay you are officialy an idiot.

That STILL sounded like Megatron to me! :D

Anywho, that last line in the trailer was just awesome. To hear them speak again in their respective roles after all these years... 8)

Bay has nothing to do with the voice casting for the video game.

more a point about the movie choice for megs rather than the game's choice

Wow. I just watched the clips at the site with Cullen & Welker's voices - got chills and my eyes got all teary. Was like my childhood came back to life. It's amazing how powerful and iconic those two voices are. Hats off to ACTIVISION!

& I'm damn glad that's true.

This just officially tells me that Hugo was put in solely for his name....not because he has a stronger voice, not because Welker's voice hasn't held up......just because of his name.

At least Activision knows to give the man the respect he deserves.....not to mention fans, too. Good thing, too, as I'll probably be spending more time playing the game than I will be watching the movie.

It could also mean that Bay liked Hugo more for the role than Welker and thought he was a better fit.

I agree, Welker is very respected in my book, but he is sounding older. Still, I don't think its nothing that talking into a can couldn't fix

Absolutely Weaving is in it purely for "star value", it's just a shame he couldn't have been given a token role and have Megs left to the man who made the part his own. The clip just reminds me of everything this film is missing and that nothing is sacred anymore.

As much as I bitched about Kaye's Megatron being better, I must admit, hearing Welker's Megs gave me chills. At least I'll like the games voice.
