I wasn't going to pick up any DOTM toys simply because of money. I did pick up Roadbuster and Topspin w/ plans of getting Leadfoot. But then I saw the movie and reinforced my plans to get Shockwave and Sentinel Prime. I may even try and replace my first movie Optimus w/ the full DOTM w/ trailer. When the first movie came out I picked up all the toys that were not scouts or repaints from other toylines. When ROTF came out I was able to pick up a couple toys but not nearly as many as I would have liked. Again my intention to get all the new characters that were not scouts or repaints. I may find ways to get my hands on ROTF and DOTM simply because I want a complete set of non-repeating characters.

Well, I was refusing to buy any dotm figures since most of my rotf's are still in package waiting to be painted...but I may have to make an exception for SP.

and then there is shockwave. Small role, but hey its shockwave.

Screamfleet wrote:I'm sure soundwave is planned. Though he's suppose to be hidden, or a surprise. It would have been like packaging sentinel as a decepticon. I'm pretty sure hasbro hinted at soundwave being a HA figure. Which makes sense for his alt mode, and for the fact we have a villain human to give him with.

Or they could give Soundwave Rosie Huntington since it was her car? I also have heard Lazer beak is going to come with Soundwave

wallmart had a listing for Mercaes HA Soundwave with LazerBeak. Not sure who the human will be.

Just realized i didn't answer the orignal question. #-o

Before the movie, i didn't care for the wreckers. I hate nascar, and the thought of Autobot Nascars didn't apeal to me at all. Now, after seeeing them in action, i defenatly want them! Especially Human Alliance Topspin!

Well i'm a completist.

Since they did not make the toys of Q, Dino, the rest of the Dreads, the rest of the Wreckers, Soundwave and Leaserbeak (Accurate size), Hatchet (Deluxe) that turns into a car instead of a Jet.....then there's no point of just getting Sentinel Prme , Shockwave, and an INCOMPLETE Dreads and Wreckers.

If it helps lessen the pain, the dread (enforcer) in the game is Crankcase's bot mode with Crowbar's alt mode. So maybe that can distract you? LOL. :o)

I want Leader Ironhide now. I'm going to go see if I can print out one of those Target coupons and get him on sale and such.
I also would like Leader Sentinel [more] now, but he's all sold out around where I live. He's actually the reason Leader Ironhide finally showed up here - an empty shelf space to fill :O Since the Bumblebee's aren't moving.

One reason I didn't want [Leader] Sentinel so much beforehand was because his and Shockwave's screen times were reversed to what I was expecting. But I don't regret Shockwave so much because of the gun mode I keep him in, LOL.

I felt obligated to get [HA] Leadfoot, working at Target, but was fearful of the whole redneck deal. After seeing the film, I think he's awesome again from before we first saw the bot mode, XD
Then again, I actually "collect" HA, so I guess it was never really an option in my mind. I only consciously thought it was. LOL.

I really digged that hooded, disfigured Megatron. I was dissapointed he didn't get much screentime or transformed more than once because he looked damn cool as a truck. I know Megatron as a truck is truly unusual but it worked for me. I mean he was weak and in hiding.

He looked rusty, banged up and it to me it conveyed perfectly the message that "Megatron was at the end of the road". He's been beaten twice, even dead the first time. He's been The Fallen's bitch and later Sentinel's bitch. Badass decay? Yes. But he looked cool which unfortunately made it dissapointing as I was expecting him to get his **** together in the last act and finally kick ass again. So yes, not the best Megatron story wise, but I digged his look and was on the look out for any scene he would appear.

So back to his look: he looked worn, banged up and that was great. At least for me. For some reason the fact he was a truck strangely reminded me of Nemesis Prime even if he still looked like Megatron. But yeah, that rusty look with the hoody? I loved that. And the looks cool, even if I would probably repaint him. I haven't bought a toy since the Beast era, and I highly regret not getting the Animated toys.

So if I got some cash and see a Megatron? Well, I'll grab one.

Before the movie I got myself Starscream and planned on getting Bumblebee. After the movie I made a small list of bots to get.

Deluxe MECHTECH Bumblebee
Cyberverse Commander Sentinel Prime
Cyberverse Commander Optimus Prime
Cyberverse Legion Sideswipe

And future plans:

Voyager MECHTECH Megatron
