Mark was more likeable than the over-the-top always "on" Shia LaBeouf. (his screen daughter though, was orange like a carrot, that was kind of distracting.)
As usual, would have liked more screen time for the Autobots, but this time it was better. And you could tell the robots apart more easily now because they had way more diverse designs and colours.
What got me excited about watching this one all those weeks ago was the whole "evasion mode" thing from the trailer and the toy. It was refreshing to see Prime transforms into a cabover in the movie, though I really wish they had used an old Freightliner rather than the Marmon. (Also wish they hadn't given him a mouth, but still, that mouth was voiced by Peter Cullen.)
I think it's the last time I'll be opting for 4D, the chair rocking was very rough.
Some quick spoilers: (but please be advised that it's more fun to be surprised!)
Kelsey Grammer (with the help of Lockdown) hunted down Decepticons and Autobots alike, and used their melted metal to create his own version of the Transformers. (Ratchet was one of the Transformers that they butchered.)
The humans developed this technology by studying Megatron's seemingly defunct head. (and they forced that little transformer toy thing from past movies to help them.) Of course Megatron allowed this because he was really using the humans to build him a new body. Megatron transferred his spark and was reborn as Galvatron.
A device/bomb called "The Seed" converts organic planets into a Cybertron-like environment, and that's how the Dinobots were created millions of years ago. The Seed belongs to Optimus Prime's creators. Their identity wasn't revealed, but they want him back! I wonder if it's the Quintessons.
There are more surprises but I guess you'll see for yourselves. Unless you want to ask anything specific.

No such fight, Lockdown was interested in Optimus Prime because their creators put a bounty on his head. Lockdown made a deal with Kelsey: the Seed for Prime. Galvatron did fight with Optimus Prime though. But I think they were mostly saving Galvatron for the next movie.Rodimus Prime wrote:YES! YES! YES! YES! F**KING YES!!! OK...I think I'm gonna have a heart attack...even though I kinda thought this was coming...PLEASE tell me there's a showdown between Megatron and Lockdown!

1. The film opens up with the extinction of the dinosaurs on Earth. Optimus Prime spends the beginning of the movie offline until Wahlberg somehow manages to wake him.Rodimus2006 wrote:Seems like a good film, something to watch on the weekend when TV sucks other than Falling Skies S4 that is.
I have some questions about the film.
1. Does Optimus Narrate the Opening like previous movies did.
2. Does Optimus also Close out the Film like he does.
3. What is going on with NEST, are they Disbanded since DOMT Events or is this even touched on in AOE.
4. Is Sam Whitwicky mentioned in AOE such as what happened to him after DOTM, or is this also Ignored.
5. The Quints seems to be a Logical good guess on The Creators, keep in mind in G1, they created all the Transformers, then they rebelled against them. So hopefully in Movie 5 if there will be a 5 hopefully we will see the Quints, also their Homeworld Quintessa maybe a Sharkticon.
6. What is the deal with those Red & Black Starships seen above the Earth in Formation. Other Decepticons or something else.
7. Was Unicron Hinted at as a Possibility in future Movies.
8. Do the Dinobots TALK, also do they Transform into Robotic Mode or do they stay in Dino Mode all the time.
Don't worry about spoiling this for me I am seeing this movie this weekend probably on Saturday.
I don't think there was anyone like that...SKYWARPED_128 wrote:I'm more curious about which bot is the one who speaks only Mandarin. So...who is it?
Rodimus2006 wrote:Also regarding Megatron, how did Megs transfer his Spark to the Human Made Galvatron when Megatron was OFFLINE.

william-james88 wrote:What I am curious to find out is why exactly the Autobots feel they need the extra firepower from the autobots to take down lockdown. The commercials make it feel like the situation is so dire but all I see are a bunch of well trained autobots and dinobots against one bounty hunter and his drones
So technically, Megatron is among Transformers that survived DOTM ?Rodimus Prime wrote:Rodimus2006 wrote:Also regarding Megatron, how did Megs transfer his Spark to the Human Made Galvatron when Megatron was OFFLINE.
He wasn't OFFLINE. Megatron was ALLOWING the humans to use his body for research to make man-made Transformers.
