Hi, as the newly appointed Fan Art Editor on the Transtopia Newsletter Team I think I have a tricky job ahead of me. My main task is to stick some dynamite underneath you guys!

The Fan Art section of the newsletter is sadly lacking in contributions. Why? Is it because there aren't any good artists on Seibertron? No it isn't - I've seen some great stuff here! So why aren't more people offering their work for the newsletter? Why don't YOU tell ME?

So why should you submit your artwork for the newsletter? Why have you posted your work here in the first place? I'm guessing it's because you want people to see your work, and then leave a message telling you how great it is. That's why I post my repaints in the repaint forum! If your artwork appears in the newsletter it stands a chance of getting many MANY more views! One of my repaints got an extra 300 views in one week thanks to the newsletter.

The newsletter also brings new members into the fanwork community here - it certainly encouraged me to do more repainting and to post my work. Why not help to build the community by submitting your work?

How to submit:
Firstly, you need to have the pic(s) available somewhere on the internet, it doesn't have to be a thread in this forum.
Secondly, post a link here: http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/viewtopic.php?f=145&t=47675

At the end of the month the submissions will be examined (by me) for possible inclusion in the newsletter. One of these will get a special featured spot with a review!


If you think your work is good enough to post in the forum then it's good enough to submit for the Transtopia Newsletter!

Once I've got the TF comic I'm working on a little further in the design process I might submit some of the designs to the newsletter, try and get more people checking out my Deviant Art where there'll be tons more. I was planning on putting most of the stuff up here anyway, didn't think about the newsletter

I'm not good at drawing, but am working on some movie transformers in Lego Digital designer. I have the twins(ice cream truck), scrapper, overload and long haul's vehicle mode done. Should I upload them?

None of these transform, but they do have decent articulation.

well, ive got NO paper and NO pencil OR pens UNTIL sunday night.... Here's alittle something I whipped up in ms paint in like five minutes though, no "COPY IMAGE URL" option on this particular computer, wich sucks...
