Remember the Alternity line? It still functions! Toy Hobby Market has posted solicitations for the Galvatron and Banzaitron repaints of Megatron and Starscream that were announced ages ago. Apparently these will be Toy Hobby Market exclusives. Both are priced at 6,825 Yen with September release dates.

What is it with Banzai-Tron these days? A relatively obscure Action Master get 3 different toys in the last 3 years.

I wish other figures could get so much attention.

I don't care what name the put on them, I don;t buy repaints.
There are too many bots to buy in the market and few money to get them, hahaha
One piece per mold is enough for me.

Meh.......

Banzaitrons colours are somewhat eye catching but only for a second really.

Does anyone actually still care about these? It's pretty apparent this line is going nowhere so I really don't see the point. I suppose it is 'impressive' how much mileage they got out of so few molds, though. What, 16 figs out of 4 molds?

Goldbug is the only one I feel that works as is. For the others, I would have made Dai Atlas use the Questor mold, Banzai-Tron as the Megatron mold, and, by process of elimination, Galvatron from the Convoy mold (with a new head, at least).

I care enough for the fiction, at least.

No surprise there ;)

So, to get a PROPER Skywarp, I need to get a Banzaitron AND a Skywarp and kitbash them together.

Sounds too much like work. 8-}

Wonder if it would even work...wouldn't the accent parts needed from Skywarp just be black since they did his colors backwards? I'd be happy to look at someone's pics if they do it, but I don't care enough about this line to even dream of doing it myself. The cash it would take would have you close to the funds necessary to just get MP-11 mold of Skywarp when it comes out.

I might get the Banzaitron just because I love the Alternity Seeker mold. I'm not a huge fan of his crazy colors though, so I might still pass on him.

Totally unnecessary. Still though, they look pretty nice, especially Banzaitron. Not nice enough to shell out the cash for, though.

I skipped all the seekers because of that dreadful face... but as Banzaitron, it works fairly well. May pick that one up on a whim. A very pricy whim.

It doesn't take much more than a new head to make me want to pick up a new Galvatron. Sadly this doesn't even have that. I made my choice back in the Unicron Trilogy days: if all Unicron's reformatting involves is a can of purple spray paint then I can't be bothered to pay for it.

FINNNAAAALLLLLLLLYY! Now there will be balance between the teams on my Alternity shelf. Also, I lovvvve Galvatron!

I still care, but maybe it's naive to have the hope that I do for new molds. I just realllly want to see Ratchet and Soundwave hit the Alternity line.

In a new mold/molds, of course.

Yeah, I think that's me. If I'm dropping $50-100 on something, it better darn well have a new head. If they can put that kind of forethought into the basic cheapo off-the-shelf line, they can do better thinking about their collectors line.

It rises from the dead! Quick, someone grab a shotgun and put it out of its misery! :p

That said, Galvatron actually looks pretty nice, and the seeker mold looks better as Banzaitron than a seeker.

But then there's that, lol...

Except the Energon mold was clearly designed to be Galvatron.

At least 16 releases from 4 molds. I'm so glad I cashed out on the line. Alternity collectors are getting hosed.

Just call Galvatron "Alternity Archforce". Or "Alternity Beast Megatron". :-B

I am one of the fans on here that actually loves the Alternity line. I agree that I wish they would make some new moulds so new characters would have more unique qualities, but as far as the quality of this line, it is top notch.

I have all of the Nissan GTR figures, One Nissan Fairlady Z Silver Megatron, and all of the Seekers. I am not too keen on the Bumblebee and CliffJumper moulds.

I was actually excited at first to see these 2 new figures announced, even if they were the same moulds. The color combos to me are tight. I was shocked when I saw they were going to be $135 a piece. No way in Hell is that happening. Now if they were $60-80 I just might pop for them. These are 1:32 scale, and it says nothing about them being limited in numbers of like 500. So unless they come with 2 tickets to universal studios California I am going to have to pass.... :-(
