Haha, no kidding.

So MG 1/100 Heavyarms and RG 1/144 Skygrasper are looking solid.

Also really excited for MG 1/100 Duel!

No where near as nice as my planned Hatsune Miku themed Unicorn...

some of the katoki redesigns are hit or miss with me. like... i didn't like sandrock kai due to the colors, but really like the original, despite the fact that he went and turned the heat shotels around compared to the anime. gundam nataku rocked, but his version of shenlong just doesn't do it for me. i dislike how he went with a beam trident, and i miss the extending arm gimmick. on top of that, because he tried to make his shenlong look so much like the original, the transition from it to his altron or nataku just feels forced. sadly, i can't get excited over heavyarms, just because i already know that the heavy arms kai or custom is so much more epic and just feels more complete. this one just feels like a nerfed heavyarms custom, which is truth is all it is

Gundam Unicorn episode 4 was hands down the best yet. Seeing all of the old outdated/mothballed Zeon mobile weapons power up to fight again was too awesome. The fact that remnant Zeon guerrilla fighters have been on Earth since the One Year War really shows their conviction.

Seig Zeon!

Unicorn is always awesome.

Anyway, thoughts on AGE so far...8 eps in I believe:

I like it, granted, not nearly as much as say, 00 and Wing, but it's in no ways bad (SEED series and G-Savior hold that distinction). Not a fan of most of the character designs however, bonus points to whoever compared Flit to Eureka. Plot is passable, UE are MUCH more interesting that the ESL and so far no giant space flowers (win in my book). The suit designs, UE designs: really good me like. AGE-1: Normal looks pretty good, Titus I have always been meh on Spallow (or Sparrow or whatever the hell it is) I like. Genoace: meh. Genoace Custom: win. EX-S: :BOOM: yeah...

Characters:
Flit: I'm indifferent on, we shall see I guess
Emily: Hate her already
Grudek: Goddamn Awesomesause in a hat
Woolf: I like him, he's silly (who gets that reference?)
Tifa...I mean Yurin: Have not seen enough to pass judgement
Little red-haired s**t: eh

All in all, I like it, I'll watch it every week, but it has not hooked me yet.

Anyway, I'm off the religiously watch Fourze, Garo and Last Exile... >:oP

It's picking up. It helps that they've more or less probably shown us that the UE aren't aliens. Also that Grodek is badass.

Quite the badass, and yes, it's picking up now after spending what IMO was way too much time on Fardain, but now there's going to be a huge battle, and those are always good, and will probably reveal more about the UE especially after recent revelations...

What do you guys think of the Age-2?

It's sleek but that head in Strider mode makes me want to vomit.

I like it, but they just were not even trying in strider mode with the head

Ugh... that was a tough scene to watch there. But I guess it was bound to happen since it was always hinted that blondie would be the mother.

Didn't get to me that much, considering when lockon died in 00 we have known who he is, what he's like and why we like him for a whole season, Tifa...er...Yurin dyingI don't know why I should care, was in all of three episodes, we know next to nothing about the character. Really, all the characters we know anything but basic facts about are Flit, Grudek and possibly Woolf >:oP

I did something today I still can't believe. I ordered a MG Nemo. Only about $30. I've been having an urge to build a grunt suit for a change, but i HATE the style of GM's and wanted something newer. I was looking at a ReZel, but then I noticed something about the Nemo. This kit is VERY under-appreciated. The frame is pretty much a 2.0 frame. It's just different enough from the GM that i don't outright hate it. I think I'm gonna try to kitbash or customize him though, not something I've done before. I've basically got a MG Aile Strike, MG FAZZ, MG Hyaku-Shiki, and a MG Zeta C Plus to draw parts from.

That's killer. Any MG for $30 is awesome. I'm contemplating to get MG Qant but at the same time, that movie wasn't too thrilling for me, I'd rather bite on an MG Exia..

Exia was the last MG I built and one of my favorites. The build is unique and the design is just... in a word... AWESOME!

EDIT: Apparently, dalong.net doesn't like when I use their images so just click on the links instead

Now, regarding the Nemo... Look at these.

I'll admit... Not the most flashy of suits, and he got very little screen time in Z.

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m88/p/m88_02.jpg

This is the inner frame of the suit. Not to shabby given the price I paid.

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m88/p/m88_20.jpg

With the right customizations, this guy can be a little badass! First pic has the ballute system as part of the customization. Out of the box he already comes set up for equipping that.

He was $33.88 from http://www.gundamstoreandmore.com

For comparison, that's only a few dollars more than a MG Ball and the same as some of the older version 1.0 kits. This guy comes with a full inner frame (excluding some parts at the shoulders), an extra joint in the wrists allowing him to bend his hands up and down, a bunch of moving and working pistons in his legs and so on.

Double-jointed wrists.

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m88/p/m88_26.jpg

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m88/p/m88_27.jpg

Hip mechanism for added posing.

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m88/p/m88_30.jpg

And here's what I'm talking about. Look at all the details and gimmicks in his legs alone.

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m88/p/m88_56.jpg

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m88/p/m88_57.jpg

From what I can tell, the MG Nemo was basically a test bed for all the new designs and tech put into the 2.0 kits. The only reason he's so cheap is because he's sort of under the radar. Slap a v-fin on this guy and rename him and he'd fly off the shelves I think. Dalong gives him a rating of 96. That's 2 less than the MG Zeta 2.0, MK 2.0's and even the brand new MG Duel Assault Shroud. It's the same rating as the MG Deathscythe.
