Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

AWESOME SIR LUBE!!!!!!!
Or should I say TKLU8E
I love it!
Did you make the costume? Order parts and paint it?
I'm mildly familiar with the process, as I too tried to pursue the idea.
Glad to hear from you.
Thanks for sharing!

I used to cosplay for Stargate actually a couple years ago. Discontinued doing it because convention scene (and my anxiety) was just too much on me. The group I was a member of also fell apart and some of the remaining members got into the Steampunk thing. I decided it was a good time to leave and get back to my other hobbies, collecting multi-fandom stuff at least.

Awesome about the 501st, Vader's Legion is lucky to have you!!
What did you pick up in the G1 range?!
The KO G1 Optimus and Grimlock?! I've seen the KO Dinobots on TF-Direct, I'm glad to hear they are good quality.leakin' lubricant wrote:Thanks man, I picked up the KO Optimus and Grimlock, mainly out of curiosity, I was so impressed with them I decided to pick up some legit reissues, so I have Commemerative Jazz, one of the Keyring Bumblebees and just snagged a Takara Encore Megatron.itscramtastic wrote:What did you pick up in the G1 range?!

I've often thought of just going with the G1 S1 and TF:TM 'bots and 'cons, at least I know what I'm getting into which you don't really know with the current state of toys as you mentioned earlier. I have enough of them, so it wouldn't be a huge undertaking, I still may..

It's actually a good thing. The group did mostly disband after. We all kind of got busy with life, but hey. It was fun while it lasted! I have fond memories of it. I still do have my Stargate costume too.leakin' lubricant wrote:Thanks man, I picked up the KO Optimus and Grimlock, mainly out of curiosity, I was so impressed with them I decided to pick up some legit reissues, so I have Commemerative Jazz, one of the Keyring Bumblebees and just snagged a Takara Encore Megatron.
That's a good haul. That Takara Encore Megatron, is it the G1 Transformers Collection ('03 I think?) version with the energon mace? I personally want to find some way to get the mace myself to give my G1 toy it to wield in my setup.
Tyrannacon wrote:Not really portrayed any specific members. Just had the look basically. I was kind of on a budget when I did it at the time. I followed the 10 foot rule. Heh.
Ah. Alright. Not a bad choice for a Megatron! I'm very happy with my G1 myself. Just wish I could get the Energon mace accessory that came out. I picked mine up from a toy shop here in town a while ago. Was one of the originals from the 80s, the American release, loose, and no stickers. So I bought the stickers for it and applied them carefully. Best thing is the joints are tight too. It sits on my shrine's shelf to Megatron.

Nice work on securing a vintage Megs in good condition, I couldn't find one that wasnt either broken or chrome scuffed, I had almost given up and then this fella popped up at a price too good to ignore.
