His name is on a LOT of Apple's patents, but he's not the only name. He was the face of Apple and he turned the company around, hence why he gets the credit.
I bet there won't be an iPod Touch 5 for November now.
I doubt Jobs' death will delay any of Apple's plans. He'd already handed his duties over to Cook, they have to keep going.
I personally, am not a fan of Apple. I think they're over-rated, over-hyped, etc.
I do however admire Steve Jobs for what he did. He had a vision, and he brought that vision to life. He started a company, lost the company, came back to the company when it was on it's death bed, and turned it into one of the biggest in the world.
We look back at history and remember people who had an impact on the world, conquerors, scientists, explorers ... Steve Jobs will be remembered as a man who brought about change in the modern world.
