Are both of the transformer movie video games really that bad?

I recently picked up war for cybertron and was thinking about picking up the 2 movie games for ps3 are they really that bad that I shouldnt even buy them cheap?

ROTF was decent. The controls were a bit awkward at first. But all in all it's mediocre at best. The first game was not that good. You can completely beat it in a few hours.

The first one was terrible. It was mindlessly fun in some parts, but most of it was written so badly, story and coding, it made me want to toss my 360 through my TV. It's got easy achievements, though, so picking it up cheap for those might be worth it.
I haven't finished the second one, but the levels I've done seem okay. Definitely not on par with WFC, but nowhere near as bad as the first one. It works great as a casual or impulse buy, but not something you'd want to save up for.

Never played the 1st one since everyone said it was so terrible. I did get ROTF, the second one. Still playing that one but WFC got my attention fully at the moment. So I would say ROTF is worth a cheap buy for sure. I didn't think it was as bad as some reviews said. WFC is elite though in terms of all Transformer games, even beats Armada on PS2 I think.

I am going to look into picking up ROTF, I played the demo and didn't think it was too bad, hopefully I can find it for under $15.

The first one was the typical piss poor movie tie in. I rather like ROTF, though. It's a pretty decent game. Not as good as WFC or even the PS2 Armada game, but it's really not bad.

And coming from me, that's saying quite a lot cause I hated the film. ^^

It's a trap!

The movie games were absolute garbage, hence why they made it known that they were not tied to the Bay-formers.

Hmm, I wonder who they are going to listen to, the one person saying that the games were aweful with no reason whatsoever, or the five, wait add me for six, saying that the ROTF game was pretty good despite the first one being bad.

My opinion follows the same pattern as everyone else... the first one was a chore to play while ROTF was much more fun.

Heres my review of every TF game Ive played

Armada- Worst TF game IMO. Too hard, I beat the crap out of myself for hours

First movie- sux ass. Only fun part is blowing up buildings

ROTF- Awesome, multiplayer better than WFC's but story mode is ok.
