hi, thought i would start this one. finally, a forum for this business.
anyways, a few heads up, the new target at mcclintock and rio salado in tempe has just opened up. they don't have wave 4, but they have everything from the first movie waves, as well as 6" tits: soundwave and rodimus.
the walmart @ 8th str and dobson should open up within the next month or so, so expect to see stocked shelves when they do.
i have encountered dreadwing at several walmarts around the valley, so i could tell you where he was last seen
none other from the new wave yet however.

I was present at the new target at 11 am, the same day you went, and i saw the titaniums and what not too; i decided to pick up an optimus prime (case-fresh box, no scratches or scuffs like other primes that have been on shelves and dropped and such for some time), and titaniums soundwave and rodimus prime
i'm still waiting for the target exclusive scouts here, i've checked 6 targets, and 4 super walmarts for the new deluxe wave..

some time ago (2 weeks?), i found a scout class Strongarm at the superstition target (power & southern), i was thinking about taking him with me to any target location, then telling guest services to do an item locate, and see if i could find any more of him at any other targets, which could lead to finding the new wave; what do you think?

wow, that's a pretty good idea too.
i saw a dreadwing at walmart @ stapley and 60 the other day, i wonder if the same method would work

So i went on a hunt today. Here's what happened. I went to the target on power and mckellips; and nothing. I took my movie Strongarm Basic/Strongarm and did an item locate. To make a long story short; there is one DPCI/DCPI (can't remember but anyway) number for each size class of TF. In other words, the scout/basics have 1 number, deluxes have 1 number, and etc. and so on. So, there was no way to locate any 1 item in any one store due to how they come in case assortments. I'll look into this matter more however.
With that said, Here are the numbers for # 087060951 (deluxe) as of 6 or 8 am on Aug. 3, 2007.
Scottsdale - 1
Gilbert SW - 25
Chandler West - 1
Ahwatukee -4
Paradise Valley - 21
Phoenix - 9
Far North Scottsdale - 3
Peoria North - 2
Peoria Far North - 3
Prescott - 17
(interesting how my 3 targets were not on this list, hmm)
and here is #087061917 (basic/scout)
Mesa East - 5
Mesa Central - 6
Fountain Hills - 9
Gilbert SE (power road) - 3
Gilbert, AZ (warner rd) - 4
Mesa west - 4
Chandler - 3
Tempe NE - 13
Scottsdale - 4
I also visited some stores.

hmm, good lookin' DA.
i saw some of the sw galactic showdown tf's at wally world at greenfield and mckellips.
we seem to hit all the same places, i'm suprised we don't bump in more often.
anyhoo, make you deal, if i run into any 08's.. i'll get two, and one for each - if not more.
i've come across a dreadwing a week and a half ago at the wally world on stapley @ 60.
i'm just so tired of driving every other day.
so those dcpi's for the deluxes - is that for the new case (wave 3), or just any wave in general?
someone else posted a case number on another thread..
lemme go look -
oh it's the upc for 08 bb:
653569237600
hmm, i read that walmart can check that upc to see if they have it, but target prefers dcpi's.
allright..
anyhoo, that was a read.

there are 2 ult bb's at the target at longmore and southern in mesa 79.99
they also had the new scout exclusives.
other than that, the mcclintock/60 target had literlaly nothing, and the new target at mcclintock and the 202 was just about bare.
fry's marketplace @ mcclintock and 60 had tons of protoforms, but that was it. however they were 7.99
