Last week i picked up the Costco cybertron galaxy force optimus prime and cybertron crumplezone repaint at the costco on country club and baseline, and also picked up the kmart minicons from lindsey and main. 2 left. At costco, there was a whole palette full, and watch out, I did see some minor paint app problems on some of them.

Bought the Autobot Ambush (Dirge/Roadbuster) 2-pack from Target this afternoon on the way home from the airport. Standoff Beneath the Streats (Ratbat/Springer) were also there, but I wanted the voyager-class Cybertron Starscream mold Dirge was repainted from more.

Fry's Marketplace has ROTF toys all on-sale until June 2. Deluxes are $8.63.

* Edit *
More specifically, the Fry's on Baseline and McClintock in Tempe has a whole isle end-cap of deluxes, voyager, and leader class.

Haven't seen ROTF at my Fry's (Ironwood & Combs) yet, but I'm pretty sure I can confirm the sale because it goes for the U2.0 deluxe class mine still has too.

One each of Legends Ratchet and Megatron are the first two I've seen for ROTF though, seen at Walgreen's @ Ironwood and Southern (across from the high school). They've still got 3 Animated Oil Slicks too.

Does anyone know Jetfire and Devastator's release date?

I've been hunting them down, but have yet to have any luck.

I'm in the Laveen area of Phoenix.

Very outdated, but I saw Masterpiece Skywarp at the Walmart in Tempe off Elliot and the I-10 on Monday 11/16. Seibertron was down for a few days, otherwise I would have posted sooner.

I saw masterpiece skywarp in my walmart today also, and i've been keeping an eye on him. Hopefully he'll be rolled back from $60 soon.

The larger universe figures that are $20ish are on sale for $15 now, and the orange airplane special 2 pack, along with the other walmart exclusive 2 pack (I forget the two in it) is on sale too now for $13.50.

I'm still meh about it all though. I wouldn't mind a cheaper skywarp though.

I need to save for grimlock still. :|

Anyone know the post-xmas deals going on in toysrus? target? kmart?

Long time no post!

-Is it me, or, is Masterpiece Grimlock REALLY hard to find?

As of last week, on friday, after a convo with a Toys R Us employee, i learned there were 324 grimlocks left in the Toys R Us factory. If you haven't seen Grimlock yet, chances look good that you will, eventually.

I recently (last week?) spoke with a Toys R Us employee in charge of the action figures area from the Toys R Us location over on power and southern in Mesa.

1. He confirmed for me that his location had never recieved any shipments of Masterpiece Grimlock other than the original shipment.

2. He confirmed for me that the 300+ units in the warehouse have been reduced in numbers down to 0.

3. He told me that in the Toys R Us computer system, the item (Masterpiece Grimlock) has been listed as "Discontinued".

4.

I attended a wedding in Phoenix yesterday and thought I'd do some toy hunting in AZ. I saw 3 MP Grimlocks at the TRU on N. Tatum Blvd in Northern Phoenix. I would call to confirm if you decide to head out there.

Thanks to your post, i am now the proud owner of 1 masterpiece grimlock! This would not be possible without your help.

Thanks again!

By the way, now there is only 1 grimlock left as of 4pm, October 12, 2010, in the state of Arizona, according to the staff @ Toys R Us at the Tatum and Cactus location.

That grimlock apparantly had the top flap of the plastic container opened, and the tape holding it down seems to have been cut or otherwise opened. The plastic flap did not appear to have any damage, and the figure did not seem to be tampered with, but don't take my word for it.

I have not been looking for DOTM transformers just yet. I'll keep an eye out though.

Leader Class Ironhide for $35.99 at Costco in Arizona

Hey all, just thought I'd let everyone know that I just found cases of Leader Class DotM MechTech Ironhide for $35.99 here in Scottsdale, AZ at Costco! They were not in the center seasonal section where they usually have toys, they were over in isles near hardware (mowers and such). Isle 20 in the store on Hayden just north of Raintree in Scottsdale.

So if you're looking, I'm betting Ironhide is sitting in your local Costco as well.

They also have Leader Bumblebee and Sentinel Prime as well. Doesn't look like they are stocking anything else though.

Cheers and happy hunting!

Ruminus

Recently went to the Safeway in Casa Grande, AZ and spotted a few Voyager class DOTM Transformers.

In all I spotted Bumblebee, Thundercracker (Don't recall ever seeing him in other stores that are listed in the sightings database), Laserbeak (same note as Thundercracker), and Barricade.

If it were not for my preparing to pay off my van next week, Cracker would be mine for Roadbuster and Topspin to take some aggression out on. Those two really need someone to thrash.

Nice! I have yet to really go hunting in my area. I have less disposable income nowadays. :)

I'll post when i eventually do though.

Anyone know what is relatively hard to find in our area anyway?

I just checked my local toys R us here in mesa at superstition mall, and they sold out of masterpiece rodimus primes already as of 2 weeks ago. I think someone waltzed in and bought them all at once but i am not sure. Either way, they're sold out. There are no more on order. Has anyone seen any more around?
