Eh, already own the 2008 one so nothing new here. >:oP

Still, who are the guys behind this "Transformers Asia" line? It does not reach mainstream retail distribution in Asia, only goes to collector shops... So I guess its Takara (like in the picture). Problem is, what is takara doing making these figures, and not releasing that at mass in Japan, and not releasing them at mass in other countries too?

Wake me when they re-release that Energon/Classics Devastator in slightly more G1 colours with opaque limbs. I-)

Price first, then we'll look into ordering.

Never had the chance to get any version of this mold. The worse part is I was just to plan on how to get Classics Devastator when this popped up. Seems like fate doesn't want me to get Devastator, this is the third interruption. :BANG_HEAD:

What was the leg mistake?

Thanks for dishing out the actual product names for Munitioner and Explorer. I forgot them as soon as I shelved the box. Their being the most realistic and best versions of Swindle and Blast-Off that we've ever gotten has helped wipe that from my mind. Love those. The little foot swivels and all... fantastic.

Yeah, and here is hoping for a follow up Devastator with opaque bits... and a more G1 green. That last release looked more like Lime-Fresh Devastator.

It would seem the Asia region has been split between the two companies retail-wise: Hasbro Asia handles general retail, while TakaraTomy handles the exclusives. Makes sense, if you think about it.

Except that I don't get the whole "exclusive to asia" part. Since these are not actually released at regular retail, only collector shops bring them in. That being said, online stores stock them too, and people anywhere in the world can order, and collector shops in the US can buy them and sell them at their stores too...

So I'm not sure where the whole "Exclusive" thing is going...

I only wish there were a good way to get them stateside. Glad the odd Asia-exclusive classics are making it over here. That's a start!

Tough having three main toy companies each putting out their own great products... plus the TFCC subscription line... plus eHobby exclusives... plus Masterpiece.

We desperately need a 4th movie line of all Bumblebees in various slightly different decos... so my pocketbook can get a rest.

Now I can have a big massive FOC Bruticus VS Energon Bruticus VS PowerCore Bruticus fight!!!

Hmm, interesting. A few nicer changes on the paint scheme but nothing that makes me want it over the one I have, especially since 2 of the limbs get replaced by FPs anyway.

I was momentarily tempted by this seeing as I missed out on the orignal western release. But even if FansProject re-released the Crossfire 2.0 sets, they're not going to stop Onslaught, Brawl and Vortex looking like crap. Pass.

Or is it? :BANG_HEAD:

Occasionally wacky colours aside, my Energon Bruticus is still perfectly fine to me... I like the nice G1 colours on this set, but it's not worth me getting these again, even if Explorer and Munitioner get re-released...

I wonder if this guy is getting released because FOC Bruticus is somehow unworthy... whether pricing too high, or can't pass some safety testing, etc. Guessing the price would be the more likely snag.

Hmmmmmmm. Asia, why you want your own unique Bruticus :-?

@Gothsaurus Look at the pics of all the molds and compare the knees of Universe/ROTF with the others. You'll notice that on the right leg is not fully painted in the purple around the ring thing.A paint error as all the others Energon,Heatwave, and new mold have legs painted the same.

@gothsaurus Try your best not to think about it.Focus on the awesome Fansproject weapons instead. If it bother's you that much you can try painting one of the legs or removing the paint from the other.

@TheTigerKing84 Casually places gray Barricade hidden behind line of basic-sized Combaticons... while fighting urge to pull defective limb off and fling it wildly.

Okay seriously, my OCD isn't that bad. I'm safely somewhere between Niles and Adrian Monk.

Well, this is a godsend for me. I got the FP upgrades in the re-release last year, but Bruticus himself has always eluded me, so they've been lonely, while his asking price is only going up. I hope this brings down the price on ROTF Bruticus, so then I can pick and choose which one works better with Munitioner and Explorer.

Definitely hope this isn't too much. I REALLY want an Energon combiner set. I picked up a Steamhammer for next to nothing (and I ended up liking the mold on its own a lot, to my pleasant surprise!), but I haven't been able to get any limbs for him yet. :(

Well, the cab forms Bruticus' chest, so you would have people complaining about that, cause seriously, what kind of fool would want a blue chested Bruticus?

I don't see this dropping the price of the ROTF set as that is still a desired deco of this team. These will be pretty pricey to get here since they have to be imported. I see this selling for $100 easily.

Well, this is that deco, but improved. It's not what FP was made for, but they'll probably look just fine with this set, meaning the aftermarket value for the other one will drop.
