First off, I want to say I love the podcast. I have tried other podcasts and the twincast was the best one in my opinion. Will any of you be attending the first ever Charticon in Charlotte, North Carolina? I live about an hour away from charlotte so I should definetly be going and I think it would be cool to me you guys in person. Keep up the good work guys!

Just finished listening to #63; great show and entertaining throughout.

Given all the topics you guys run through, any chance you'll be speculating further on other BotCon molds throughout the coming podcasts? Your lamenting the current crop of molds in the box set was by far the highlight for me.

Also, did any of you guys get Quakewave? Any thoughts on Terminus Hexatron and the Fansproject Not-Stunticons?

So here's one for the next episode (or the next) (or three months from now, whatevs). If it's been discussed already, just ignore it.

With the release of Encore Fort Max just days away from what I'd presume is the next recording date, several questions arise:

- Who's got one on the way?
- Did you go for an Early Air shipment option or are you at the mercy of a boat?
- Did the God Sword's inclusion make you want the toy more, or have no effect?
- I love tampos, don't you?
- If you aren't jumping on this, why? Acceptable reasons include: "No room for it", "don't collect G1", and "I just hate everything".

If you could have Encore Fortress Maximus in any of the 3 color schemes from over the years (Fort Max, Grand Max or Brave Max) and have it come with all accessories including Gasket, Grommet, Master Sword and Cerebros's Sword which would you choose and why?

What do you think about the quality vs. price in the current TF deluxes?

Example: I paid $8.99 for classics sideswipe and worth every penny solid figure, good accessories, doesn't feel cheap. I just bought FoC sideswipe for $16.99 and inferior in every way with the exception of his pathblaster gun. Poor plastic quality & deco and if they weren't going to do all re-tool work on that mold why not light pipe the eyes instead of leaving them black?

I've got one that's been bugging me for a while.

Why are people bothered by or outright hate the Aligned Continuity? Is it just a misunderstanding about it what it really is, or are there legitimate things people loathe about it?

My question(s) go to Seibertron, or anyone on the podcast who'd like to answer. What is the most unexpectedly horrible retail figure you have ever purchased?

Or alternatively: What have been the most disappointing or least impactful Botcon exclusive figures and/or sets you have purchased or have been given?

Hey guys' it's been a month, so are we getting a new episode soon? are you waiting to get your encore fort max to reveiw and discuss?

if you had to make a display and limit yourself to one of a character, across all toy lines which would be your Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, etc.?

In the latest episode, (65) you guys talked about being burned out on Movie styled figures. BUT! What if the figures are on par with the ROTF and HFTD lines? The DOTM toys were disappointing, but the previous line and a half were, I think, very well executed, with some gems coming out of them (Leader class Starscream, Hailstorm, etc). If the next films have toys to that level, would you get them? Why or why not?

Thanks!

In the two-parter, you guys talked about James Roberts writing in MTMTE, and how many of the characters could potentially be switched out in terms of dialog. I am in the same boat as Seibertron, I don't like all the snarkiness that takes place. So why did I like it in LSotW?

In other words, why did Wreckers work, when MTMTE doesn't in the same way?

Thanks and best regards!

How did the clubs subscription service work exactly last year and could you recommend which method of payment to use -i didn't get it last year because i joined too late but im interested if chromedome and treadshot are in it-i had the action master of tread shot- but with the club being -kinda crazy i would like advice on what you recommend having dealt with their craziness.

also thanks for answering my questions -i have been doing some testing and ive found 2000 grit sand paper is really good on figures -extremely fine can remove some bad paint apps -found at most automotive stores-also clear acrylic is good for sealing paint repairs -worked well on vector primes chest orb

"Simplified Deluxes"

Dear God, WHY?!

And specifically, if you have any insight into why Hasbro is upscaling Cyberverse figures, would you please tell us?

recently the two main comic series are about to have their characters made into toys or are featuring more toys as characters. we saw it with the spotlights which are going to be packed with the characters but also other stuff. scoop showed up in rid 20 and we are seeing a tailgate, swerve, skids and whirl from mme. Plus we are seeing waspinator coming out and with a rhinox figure coming out and a the appearance of rattrap in the comics im thinking we may be seeing more characters from the comic as toys and the toys effecting the comic. What are your thoughts?

Also with a whirl coming out do you think they could retool him into highbrow from the head master team? As he is also a copter and they did something similar with springer and sandstorms mold

interesting talk on third party enhancements following charitcon,

but apart from third party attachments/figurines, what non-hasbro/takara equipment do you feel should be essential to any collector?

I'm looking for some type of affordable diorama background, nothing as elaborate as Jon's, any suggestions?

Probably not in 78, but in 79, we're gonna visit some questions here. Thanks for the contributions, and let's get some more in!

So what are your opinions upon the concept; movie toys possibly being grouped in with generations? Personally I don't mind it, but it's caused some people to be a touch irate.

How's it any different from what's happened before? The Generations line has never had any set aesthetic. It's currently going on its fourth one now with the IDW toys.

I personally don't see a deference or care, but I know some think that movie is it's own separate section and shouldn't mix with whatever neo-C.H.U.G line there is.

There have been Movieverse molds in the Generations line before. Specifically, GDO Sandstorm, Laserbeak, Brawl, Dead End, Springer, Powerdive, and Megatron all used Movie molds (just ones that weren't designed by Paramount).

Kinda makes one try to remember how folks felt about the 2007 movie line using molds from Cybertron and Classics when they did those Walmart exclusive Deluxes back then (I had only just recently joined the site back then, so I can't fully recall what the reactions were). :o)

Dear Twincast,

Do you have a separate shelf for your Reveal the Shield, United, and various movie line figures that fit the Classics theme since they're not a part of 'CHUG'?

"CHUG" is mostly a generalized term to refer to any Classics-style figure regardless of whether or not they were actually released within any of the four lines that make up the acronym. Like, Reveal the Shield Special Ops Jazz is considered to be the CHUG version of Jazz despite his being a RtS figure. People don't expand the term to include initials from other lines since "CHUG" gets the point across fine and any additional letters make it look a bit ridiculous (i.e. - CTHUGURTS, CHUGTHULU, it's like trying t fit all of the TF: Prime toyline names into one long group when "Prime" works just fine over "TFPFERIDAMDEBHPRG" :P ). ;)
