Here's one for the crew. Out of all the various incarnations of Optimus Prime and Megatron which is your favourite toy version of them and which is your favourite TV show version?

How do you guys feel about te GEEWUNNERS aspect of the fandom,who see everthing new and different as bad?I have some quotes here from the most recent example in the Transformers Prime 'Convoy' Promo Video topic:

So for TFP I'm glad to see the trailer, I know 100% it's not permanent thing. The Trailer looks awesome here.

Okay this is going to sound dumb to you twincasters out there, but I’ve got some questions, first off: do you need an ipod to listen in? And if so what type? And last but not least, do I require a fast computer? Because if I do, I’m not going to be able to listen in.

It's just a MP3 file, so you can download it directly and listen to it at your leisure. You don't need an iPod to listen to it. Any basic audio program on your computer should work.

Toys: RiD Prime, the figure is so much fun and if ever I get around to enjoying posing a Prime toy, it's him. He rocks my socks.

Energon Megatron, all versions, large and small. This is one toy that I just enjoy holding and transforming. He's got such great sculpting, unobtrusive gimmicks, and personality, I just love it.

Shows: Armada Optimus AND Megatron. When I think back, most versions of Optimus annoy me. He's written very one-dimensionally since G1. (love G1 Optimus though, but that's an easy choice) Armada Prime is powerful, cunning, and even kind of wild at the end. Armada Megatron is the very definition of Megatron and plus, I like his antlers.

I fully expect Galvatron to show up. I expect his announcement at the end of the year with a similar release if not sooner than Hot Rod had.

I would not be surprised if at some point Soundwave gets a MP release, but I kind of expect them to start doing some smaller MP figures with characters who can be scaled down like Bumblebee.

I would like to know how many of you have a significant other and what do they think of your love for transformers? I am married and have kids and my wife is okay with it.

My significant other of almost 15 years is extremely supportive of my Transformer love, especially when it comes to my collection. I've been told, "If you want it, buy it now, otherwise I'll just be paying more for it when you want it later." When we were dating, "Beast Wars" was one of our favorite shows to watch together. He knew enough of the G1 series to keep up with me at the time, and now he knows more about Transformers then he probably ever cared to. I have a 16 yr old Daughter who has become a Transformer fan in her own right, but likes to kid me about my collection, she thinks I have too many...

I know how it is before we had kids i had a toy/game room it was great. But as we have moved and got more kids i have had to give a lot of my toys away because of room. And finances i want to collect but sometimes i just can't see spending money on the toys. that is why i cannot wait until my kids are old enough and want to play with them. My wife is okay with it but again the money thing we have talked and i agree. But i was able to keep one box of toys so i still live through this website.

Hey gang, big fan of the podcast.

What I would like to know is what you guys think is a good starting point for collecting Japanese g1's.

My US and UK G1 collection is nearing its end and after years of collecting Im quite happy with the condition of all my figs. After years of putting it off I finally got around to watching the Japanese headmaster series and am really keen on trying to pick up a Raiden.

I can spot a US G1 re-issue, bootleg or KO from a mile away but Im completely lost when it comes to Japanese TFs. Is there a guide or handbook of some sort out there? Ive tried searching various sites but cant find a thing.

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for your time.

would you watch a beast wars continuety. note: it is written by the same people from the original beast wars, with a story line that COMPLETELY ignores anything that happened in beast machines, all characters return (exlude characters that were only in beast machines),yes even dinobot and the rest of the dead bots, with their original voice actors, the cgi is updated, the story line still envolves the ark and the rest of the g1 cameos, and all characters have similar looking but still original models.

Now would you watch it if the maximals and predacons transformed into wait for it...

When Ryan buys a third party figure its because he is interested or just because the people want too see his photos?
