I want the game designers to give interviews and talk about the game... I don't want to see a good looking female "producer" being pimped out by the company in order to try and sell the game. I don't fall for that kind of marketing. Maybe some 12-14 year old boys do, but I don't. If it's a good game, I'll buy it... not because it looks cool and Jade is on G4 trying to look all pretty and sell it to me.
It's understandable. But hopefully you won't boycott the game for too long. It really is awesome as hell. The A.I. are wonderful, the physics are great, everything feels like it has weight. The kingdom's are so friggin' expansive it's unbelievable. Sure each kingdom is small when compared to the GTA:SA islands. But for this kind of texturing, this immersive environment, it's wonderful.
What put me onto the game was the concept, an assassin trying to stop the crusades. It reminded me of Tenchu, only staying away from the whole ninja bit, which did get annoying after awhile.
Although the game does have it's downfalls. A lot of the lines from citizens are the same. You'll get the same responses from different people. Stuff gets repetitive, pickpocketing, interrogating, eavesdropping.
But it really is a great game. The biggest hang-up, is it starts off slow. You literally have to ride from your town of Musayaf to Jerusalem, or to Damascus, passing through towns, avoiding guards, etc.
