Not much of a obscure list when you have Reflector, Metroplex and Computron. They didn't even mention the really obscure guys like Impactor, Jhiaxus or Devcon

Considering computers were turning into slag to get Devestator animated, and he's only up to Metroplex's ankle at best, I don't think the ILM computer room would survive trying to put him in a movie.

I think they were more about saying the concepts likely wouldn't fly in the movies not so much the obscurity would be what stopped them. I mean the Fallen made into the movies of all things, and thats digging rather deep. Not as deep as say Liege Maximo or Slayride, but deep enough heh.
