thanks for the heads up, did'nt know G1 Hotspot can do the same. Yeap, the head is neatly stored and not at all visible in alt mode and robot mode

Hey man, thanks.

They're Mechanical Chain Bases, and are mainly for background displays for Gundam figures. They're 6" by 6" and connect for larger backgrounds. There's also a lot of different looking backgrounds with different types of accessories, and I'm glad I finally convinced myself to pick some up. Just google them and you'll see links to stores or Ebay for them.

I have 8 of them myself, and couldn't be happier with them..

Thanks! Not badly priced either. Just ran into a video of someone taking old VHS tapes and painting them to make a set also. Thinking I might research a bit more before I decide...

Ill make a new thread... Seems like that might be something people might be interested in... As its been semi-haunting my mind to make my display more than boxes, and book shelves.

Just a picture I wanted to take. Cannonball needed a pirate crew, so I threw these guys together. Buzzsaw had no backstory and was basically just a random Decepticon, same with Storm Surge. Dreadwing and Sharkticon apparently made very brief cameos in the Energon cartoon, but then that was it. Frostbite was cannon fodder in the Universe story line. Lockdown is a mercenary/bounty hunter who wouldn't take issue with being hired by Cannonball.

I was gonna toss Thundertron in there as captain instead, but then I remembered he hates Cybertronians, so I didn't
