Guys, read between the lines. When he said retail, he said K-Mart, Target and Wal-Mart, and that it would be in a specialty market. Toys R Us is a specialty market. Toys R Us was never mentioned in his e-mailer. We know the Canadian TRUs are getting them.

Most likely, like other TF lines, they'll be at TRU. No need to panic and lynch just yet.

They better be at TRU because BBTS is a rip off.

Why aren't these in the HasbrToyShop site yet? There's no f'ing way I'd pay BBTS prices for that stuff. Better to just wait for when they become shelf warmers like EVERY other line that has come out.

so in other words only TRU is going to have them and since they are going to be the only ones to have them they'll charge $15 per figure, then factor in scalpers so yeah good luck finding these guys in your area. Good job hasblow i hope you enjoy not making money. Good thing i dont care about this line other wise id be pissed. Ok im a little pissed cause there are 2 figures that i want and since walmart isnt going to have them the prices are going to be retarded, i might just say to hell with it and skip this line.

Keep in mind this is the "first edition" pre-normal-sale line, not the regular sale line. I'm imagine when these guys hit the shelves for their normal sale's they'll be in Walmart, Target and all them.

The news story has been updated to clarify that the "First Edition" line will see a limited release. This implies that the main/primary Transformers Prime line will see a full release which makes more sense than what we all seemed to initially think.

wait, if these are the "first addition" wave, then why are they not comming out till january O_o

That makes A LOT more sense. Still hoping the TRU theory is correct, though. Much rather pay Toys R' Us' 2-3 dollar mark up as opposed to BBTS' 10 dollar mark up. >.>
