He was considerably smaller than most fans expected he would be, and he scales with MP-09 and MP-10 reasonably well when they're all in robot mode.
Actually Grimlock is too small to scale with MP-10 and is more built to scale with the BT line than the 2.0 line. Besides, Takara have specifically gone on record saying that the reboot started with MP-10.
MP10 Convoy was scaled to MP09 Rodimus.

Ironically, the same article speculates whether or not MP Ultra Magnus would be made. Check it out for the answer.
On a related note, just looked at MP10 Convoy, and noticed several tabs and slots already molded in - forearms, hip, front shins.
Ironically you've just proven my point:
Not sure why you think that is ironic since I wasn't disagreeing with you. It's a lot more helpful for folks when facts are provided, instead of stating things as factual with nothing to back it up.
Generally if you're agreeing with someone while making a contrary statement, it's a good idea to make that clear rather than being ambiguous.
The fact is that this thread, much like virtually every Masterpiece thread to date, has been some people pointing out the fact that the reboot happened with MP-10 and other people trying to rewrite history. When you're leading with a position that for all intents and purposes, looks like it's taking the "rewriting history" stance, then you can't be surprised when that's how it's taken- especially when after several threads, official statements from Takara apparently aren't evidence of anything to some people.
I agree everyone should have the facts, but remember, this is a message board forum - since when did facts have anything to do with arguments on here.
