Blaster and Heavy Duty To Be Released In Universe Wave 1!

Two new tidbits of information to add:

Blaster will be a repaint of Cybertron Soundwave, and Heavy Duty is a repaint of Cybertron Quickmix.

*Edit: It does indeed say Heavy Duty...*

Not a huge fan of the Cybertron Soundwave mold (I just can't get mine to stay together that well), but even more than that I'm just disappointed in repaints for wave 1 of this line... Is this going to be how we get this price point for Universe?

Anyway, I'll admit to being more excited if somehow they could make Blaster's bomb transform into a lion or a rhino....

Sunsaker looks much better. With the fact of Cybertron Soundwave as my favorite soundwave ever I'm getting Blaster for sure
Want List:Armada Skywarp, Cybertron Thunderblast, Energon Dreadwing or Mirage.

Its a good job I aren't a completionist for every line. What happened to the realism aspect of the Universe line that stops us getting a completely red Powerglide?

To everyone that doubted me when I said that if they start doing Blaster toys again it would just be SoundWave redecos...

I say, Told You So!!!!

See we care that they where siminal alts with different transformations, Hasbro doesn't though.

This is a huge part of why, awesome as he'd be, I never want to see MP-SoundWave, cause Takara is starting to get just as bad :-x

Oh and I'm holding off on PowerGlide, just cause I'm sure we'll get a red redeco. As of now, he looks good, but more like that white repaint he had, what was it called, Bad Boy or something like that. Can't help but wonder though if Ratchet wants his color scheme back?

He's got some pretty far-out powers to go along with them, too, including teleportation, the projection of trippy telepathic visions and illusions, and the ability to groove on the language of 98% of all known species. looks like my demands for some blaster love has been heeded :grin:




Tbh this being a repaint doesnt bother me much as ive never seen the soundwave version of it so it'll always be a blaster to me, and he's got a whole new look, so mayber a new head wont be that bad. I hope this isnt going to be how all blaster/soundwaves are from now on though. and i believe i told you i doubt it would happen, so i apolagise to you now bud
