Appearance: Bluestreak’s appearance has changed over time, primarily his color scheme. Before the war he sported a dark blue and silver palette. However, when his home city was devastated by a Decepticon attack his blue coloring was burnt off in the firestorm, leaving him all silver. He soon replaced it with a black and silver paint job as a way to mourn the deaths of his fellow citizens. He has kept that look ever since.
Profile: Bluestreak was a simple merchant back on Cybertron before the war literally landed on his front doorstep. His home city was attacked and completely destroyed by the Decepticons. He crawled out of the rubble as the lone survivor and it led him to join the ranks of the Autobots as a way to seek vengeance for all the lives that were lost. That one catastrophic event changed his life forever, forcing him to leave behind a peaceful existence and replace it with a violent one.
Bluestreak became a talented gunner, one of the best the Autobots had to offer. However, despite his formidable weaponry and shooting ability, Bluestreak has never considered himself to be the warrior type. He only fights now because he has to. In actuality, he hates war and can lock up sometimes when faced with great danger. But that hatred does not compare with the outright disgust he has for any mech wearing the Decepticon badge or even those collaborating with the enemy.
Regardless of his haunted past, Bluestreak is still a friendly, good natured Autobot at his core with a talent for incessant and often inane talk that tends to drown out anyone close by. Conversations don’t exactly come easy when Bluestreak is around, but at least his gregarious manner serves to lighten the otherwise grim situations that the Autobots often find themselves in. But, it also serves another purpose, one that most of Bluestreak’s comrades are not aware of. His endless droning helps him to avoid the silence, which often reminds him of the dead quiet that followed his home city’s destruction. It’s a way he has found to cope with those terrible memories, even if the other Autobots make fun of his non-stop chatter. As far as Bluestreak is concerned, talking too much is much better for him than the alternative.
Abilities: In vehicle mode, Bluestreak is among the fastest Autobots and can sustain speeds of up to 150 mph for more than 12 hours. He is also a highly skilled marksman, considered to be one of the best in the entire Autobot army. In robot mode, he carries twin shoulder mounted rocket launchers, each capable of hurling a shell containing four independently targetable warheads. Each warhead possesses the concussive force equivalent of 150 lbs. of TNT. His ion-charge disperser rifle can shoot an electrified particle beam, resembling blue lightning, a distance of 12 miles and punch a 10 foot hole in a cinder-block wall. Its accuracy is limited, but the electrical charge of a single bolt can be as high as 80,000 volts.
Weaknesses: As powerful and threatening as he is, Bluestreak can be completely undone at times by his disdain for combat and his reluctance to fight. Furthermore, his absolute hatred for the Decepticons can occasionally lead him to make decisions based on emotion instead of reason or fact.
