The Botcon Exclusives section of the Seibertron Toy Gallery grows by 2 tonight with the additions of Botcon 2005 Ironhide and Ratchet. Both figures are remolds of Energon Tow-Line. So check out these 2 great new galleries with over 130 pictures in each!

These are two repaints I'm sad I never got, I know I can find them online, but at the average $100, well I'm not that rich yet.

So thanks, I'll just live vicariously through these galleries!

Screw the Movie toys, if they released these to the general market instead, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Seeing the photos of these two grouped with the Classics Autobots confirms what I and everybody else already knows: Hasbro, please have the common sense to make yourself a lot of money by packing these two together and selling them for $20 a set. Hell, you could probably get away with $30.

I know my addicted ass would shell out that kind of cash for these to in a box set.

What can we do about getting a petition going for this?

Something I would like to see Hasbro do for a hopeful regular release would be to refine the front windshield, instead of it being seperated into two. That and remold the heads a little bit to make their "helmets" look more distinct (give Ironhide his "mohawk" and Ratchet the V-shape on their heads).

Awesome galleries as always! Well done.
These toys really show where the IDW designs come from.
Thanks for posting.

From what i've read so far that head is a remold from Tow-line to fit Ironhide better.

These would go so beautifully with my Classics bots...
Shame I'll never be able to get them.

We should get these as regular figure besides it would be easier on Hasbro so they don't need to make new molds

Release these as Classics, Hasbro. You WILL make money by doing so, especially if angered Transfans like myself are not going to buy any Movie toys.

Great galleries, I would love to get those two but has others said the $100 asking price is a bit much.

Come on Hasbro, repaint the Seekers to fill in the gaps and throw these bad boys in and we got another wave for the Classics.

Honestly? It all came out of little ol' Classics Legends Jetfire and Titanium Starscream. No matter what setting I used on my camera, I couldn't get a decent picture of Jetfire. There's something weird about the type of plastic used on that little guy that he was hard to photograph. Titanium Starscream happens to just be that weird shade of whitish gray that he was bleeding into the background as well. I figured since I've been wanting to do Masterpiece Ultra Magnus and Botcon Ratchet and had Masterforce Minverva enroute from Asia (who should arrive tomorrow or Thursday) that now would be a good time to temporarily switch to the black backgrounds to do all of these white figures. When I did the photos of Polar Claw, there was a setting on my camera that I wasn't using which made the black backgrounds look pretty terrible. I've figured out that setting and generally white figures are OK now but the same setting applied to the black background makes it look pretty awesome as well. After I finish the galleries of Minerva and Masterpiece Magnus, I'll switch back to using a white background. It's kind of a pain in the ass to swap backgrounds so I'll just do a run of figures with the black in the meantime.

Never gonna happen. Can you imagine how pissed the fans would be that bought a BotCon exclusive figure only to have it released in the main line? Yikes!

I actually decided to put Ratchet and Ironhide ahead of a lot of other figures because of the unusual number of emails I received inquiring about the Botcon Ratchet figure that I cameo'ed in the Movie Ratchet gallery. People didn't know what line the figure was from so I decided that I'd give those people a treat by doing a rush gallery of him since I had the black background up.

I still say Hasbro was stupid for doing this

They could of made alot more money if they had put them out in the mainstream

Alot of us would love to have these two
