I am in the same league as everyone else though as far as knowing Trivia and such... but I can learn or make something up :)

We need shirts... I would wear a Transtopia shirt. Just a thought... heheh.

shirts are to expensive. i may try and do stickers again though.

The bad news: I can't be a part of Transtopia's team for the competition. I had already made previous arrangements with Transfandom (my other main site) to be on their team.

might just be your area but usually you can go to an imprint shop with a design and get shirts made for around 10 a piece here.....

Well I'd be cool with that if your up for it. just make sure people send you money in advance. Last year TFM and I came up with the stickers the day before botcon. I "Borrowed" a couple label sheets and printed out custom transtopia labels for people to grab off the posting board (that I was blind a could not find because I'm stupid)

Yeah...I had it almost planned since the last con (at least the fact that I was going to this con and who my roomie would be for the con). We decided a few days after the official page was done up with info on the contest that we would represent TFD.

:( Sorry...

Too expensive to buy for yourself to wear? Or too expensive to make in the hopes that someone would buy them to wear?

All that would be needed: http://www.cafepress.com/ (click on Start Selling Now). There are no upfront costs and you make money everytime an item is sold. Money that could go to site upkeep, contest prizes... etc.

Trust me, if they had a "Take apart TF's" section of quizes i'm sure we'd kick ass but for the other parts we can just go in and have fun.

No pressure, just enjoy ourselves. If we don't know the answer we can make one up and just run with a fake answer and make the crowd laph.

No pressure, just have fun. I might even drink a little before ours!! JK...although I will be drinking those nights with friends.

I don't like I can't go... :cry: Bills, buying TF's, etc... Hopefully people will go next year as I do plan on saving up for it, no ifs, ands or buts about it. ^_^ Only thing that might hinder me is if the movie comes out and I do as I plan for that and go to every viewing I can possibly afford. >.>;

I would buy 2. Of course we would need to have a contest for the fan art on the back of the shirt. They would sell like hot cakes.

That's cool, I haven't even had time to spend on a design anyways. I may try the stickers again cause there cheap and easy.

Anyone else is welcome to come with a design. I'm devoting all my free time (what there is of it at the moment to try and finish my batmobile. Ran across a snag with the front being to wide and the shell not fitting.

How much do you need for the smallest batch if someone has a design? I might be able to help.

All right. I'm looking at the shirts being about 15-20$ each....

If I paid and made these shirts do those that would be on my team be up for giving me the money back at the con because it would be nice to have them but I just don't have the extra money to spend...at least not unless it re-embursed.

??

Here's the one I was thinking about.

Transtopia with the Website addy right under it with the TT Skull on the back...

What do you all think?

That's ganna cost me about 100$ if not a little bit more...

I would think the bashmaster would be more recognizable.

Before you drop a hundred bucks or more, being reimbursed or not, how quickly will you receive the shirts. I'd hate fot you to have to ship the shirts after botcon because they wouldn't arrive on time.

I have to agree... I think the site mascot, Bashmaster, would be a better design for the shirt. Maybe have the name Transtopia under it and then on the back have the web address.

And I am also curious, would the shirts be delivered in time for the con?

I ordered the 5 team member shirts and one extra just in case. White, black trim with the Bashmaster picture on the back and Transtopia on the front with the web address right ander it.

Looks like it's no more then 20 each, maybe a bit less but I hope you guys wouldn't mind pitching in the few extra dollors and just make it 20 each for the shipping.

And yes. They will be here in time.

That's cool! I have no problem chipping in.

But just out of curiosity, what sizes did you get? Not all Transformer fans are built alike. :)

You mean were not all 5-6' and 3' around (2'-5" now lost some weight)

If it's too big you can always wear it around your waste like a gangsta. lol

Yeah; I'll chip in a little. I'm not doing too well with funds for the con; but I have a little I could chip in.

Thanks for the shirts TFM! :)
