Don't worry about heads, I'm fairly certain we'll get at least 4 new ones among the boxset and Souvenirs ;)

btw The Blurr mold is currently in use for the Animated Transtech Cheetor exclusive, wouldn't that exclude him from the list of possible molds?

Probably...

My wish list:

Motormaster = Ultra Magnus, new head
Drag Strip = Lockdown, new head
Breakdown = ?? (I could see Sentinel Prime with a new head, Blurr, but Cheetor may kill that, or Arcee, but not sure)
Wildrider = Rodimus

Souvenirs:
Chromia and Paradron Medic from Arcee
BotCon '01 Arcee Black Arachnia

Overcharge from Blitzwing

Darkwing and Dreadwind from Jetfire/Jetstorm

Cykill from Oil Slick

Punch/Counterpunch and Breakdown would beg to differ. :)

Oh. My. God. I love Animated and I love the Stunticons. It's like Fun Pub are dangling the universe in front of me.
I hate that I can't get to BotCon yet - the earliest will be 2012. All of the toys that come out (especially Shattered Glass, G2 Redux, and this) are awesome, and the entire event sounds like a festival dedicated to awesomeness. Why can't BotCon migrate over to England every now and then?

I'll wait until the full line-up of convention figs is available before I decide what to purchase (if anything), but I am quite interested with this main set. I just started collecting Animated this past year (I know, way to be late) but I'm quite pleased with the figs I've found. They don't mesh as well with Classics figs as I'd hope (although Wreck-Gar and Grimlock are probably staying in my Classics collection), but I've come to appreciate their uniqueness. This year will (hopefully) be my first Botcon ever, so here's hoping to a great line-up with which I can spend gross amounts of money on ;)^

I don't think he mean me but rather that the exclusive for the club last year was Punch/Counterpunch and G2 Breakdown was in the set with the same mold.

i agree with the cykill, darkwing/dreadwind and overcharge souvenier sets
but here is my line up of the main set
drag strip = blurr ( new head)
dead end = jazz
wild rider = lock down (new head)
breakdown = rodimus (new head)
motor master = either ultra magnus or bulkhead both would need a new head
souvenier sets
1: cykill = oil slick and overcharge = blitzwing
2: darkwing and dreadwind = jetfire and jetstorm (new heads on both)and hound = swindle (new head)
3: an army builder set or maybe a set of g2 dinobots to tie in with both last and this years sets
please tell me what you all think of my ideas for the sets

I like the idea of G2 Dinobots... They could do a blue or turqouise Grimlock, a red or green Slag, ahem, I mean Snarl... and wait! There wasn't a color variation on swoop was there?

Sludge and Swoop never made it to G2.

G2 Dinobots were Grimlock, Slag, and Snarl.

Grimlock came in silver, blue, and green variants.
Snarl came in red and silver, I believe.
Slag came in silver and green, I believe.

I really wasnt big into Animated. Okay, I didnt like it in the least. But my son loved it, and thanks to Animated, we got those awesome Activator toys that I love. I think this is really cool for fans of Animated to flesh out their collections with some really cool repaints. The Jazz figure is pretty sweet as is.

Missing last years Con really sucked. Hell, 2010 sucked for me overall, and I really don't wanna miss out this year. I hope the rest of the set can make a trip to Cali (Wow, Cali, Disney World, then back to Cali, FunPub must think all TF Collectors are billionaires) to see my most awesome Seibertronian friends.

And a BIIIGGGGG Welcome Back to my man Robofreak, great to see you on here again man.

I'm glad to be back. Hopefully I'll see you at Botcon. Eveyrhting is going to depend on me getting some funds soon.

I do hope that things have gotten better for you First Gen. Things were rough last time we talked.

Does anyone need a 2011 Giant Reign 1? If I can seel my bike, I can make it to Botcon. Since I can't physically ride it anymore, I might as well sell it.

Yeah, I know as toys, G2 Sludge and Swoop were never made (probably due to destroyed or lost molds) I owned most the G2 versions of the Dinobots

I had both blue and turqouise Grimlocks, both green and red Slags, and both green and red snarls... and of course they came as their original colors too. I just wasn't sure if they were in another continuity like in comics or something and featured Swoop and Sludge.

Getting on top of my finances for the new house is going to preclude getting the Iacon package this year. I'm essentially covering my housemate's rent for the first month and it'll take a while for funds to normalise after that. Definately want this set though so will be hitting the after market for these guys and hoping that them being Animated moulds means that prices won't sky rocket too much this year.

Was actually kind of hoping that this year would be an easy pass as I can't budget as much for toys as I once could and am trying to stick to mainly main line figs and less high end stuff but this set is going to be right up my alley.

I've yet to make it to a Botcon yet myself :-( , but once orders open up on the Botcon website, you can just purchase the Iacon Package, which is the box set for non-attenders. It's pretty easy--did that with the Games of Deception set a few years back.

If they can make the geads less Animated looking then I will be happy. As it is, I will now have the money to at least get one of my friends to purchase the set and all of the exclusives for me.

I think this is very cool. I love the classic colors and the evil mirror universe Spock goatee - so who else are we gonna see repainted? Rodimus, Blurr, Lockdown, Prime, Soundwave, Bumblebee?

Check out my youtube video for my opinions!

What do you guys think?

Hopefully next year will be on the East coast or near it. Probally Midwest. My luck next year will be the Wreckers boxed set and it will be held in Anchorage.
