At least the mechtech weapon is colourmatched to Dreadwing. Still not a fan of mechtech.

mmm - i will probably get bruticus but i'm guessing this version will be too pricey. Not the best rendition.. I think the original G1 was one of the most fun combiners.

i liked the wfc figures i have.. megatron and soundwave especially, prime was ok and bumblebee was well rubbish. I don't see the point of a new soundwave. Was definitely goign to get shockwave till i read the tf prime news.. ah i'll probably get both.

Airachnid.. I was excited about the prospect but i'm not liking the toy much.. will get her cos i like the character.

dreadwing's simply gorgeous. His look and feel seems to touch upon many different transformer eras... G1, Armada, Movieverse.. Prime. Me like. Me shall have.

Was thinking his sycophantic character reminded me a bit of TFA lugnut... and wish there was a lugnut in prime. The classics lugnut is still one of my favourite all time toys.

Not loving Airachnid, just way to much kibble. Dreadwing is awesome though can't wait to get him. Dead End and Bumblebee are just meh.

Airachnid has no spider form. :-(

I hope that Airachnid's propeller blades/spider legs are removable, and a third-party company makes more accurate, double-triple blades that turn into actual, long spider legs which we could use instead.

Dreadwing is gorgeous. Although...is his Mechtech ANOTHER modified version of Powerizer Optimus' weapon? I just hope he can hold it upside down, to slightly resemble his Gatling cannon.

And still nothing on Breakdown, Swerve, Jet Vehicon, and Gaea Unicron. Maybe SDCC will show more...

Dead End is an abomination! Hasbro's groin must need a sidetable to rest on seeing the sheer amount of balls it takes to release something like that.

I love it for all the wrong reasons.

I was really looking forward to Airachnid, but that figure looks terrible. I can't really tell whats going on with her arms, but it looks like something you'd find on a cyberverse figure.

Dreadwing looks great, that's bought on sight.

I actually like Dead End, I might pick him up on clearance since I've already got Wheeljack.

I thought Airachnid was supposed to be a Voyager. No? And the lack of spider form is disappointing.

Man that Bruticus still looks ugly as hell. At least colors aren't that bad, but I'm not very sad if it will be somekind of a limited hard to get release only. I just don't believe anymore that it would be mistransformed in every damn picture. Mayde it just looks crappy. The only decent thing is his torso and head. :-( This seems to be rather quiet year what comes to official toys. For me MP-10 hasbro version is the highlight of this bunch and I already have him. Well...I suppose I can save money for the next year unless there will be some interesting 3rd party stuff available for me.

Airachnid - probably good enough. I hope 3rd parties beef it up.

Dead End - The toy's fine, but G2 threw up all over him.

Dreadwing - the winner by far. Like Megatron, the transclearant on his person is unobtrusive. The gun is fittingly sized (for once) but Hasbro missed an opportunity not making it underslung. If it locks for real, I'll be happy.

Bruticus - Oh look, fists! Dude, XYZ... I wish the ports weren't bright purple. Not a bad combiner with decent articulation, kudos Hasbro. Oh, and MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MIND ABOUT THE COLORS! If nothing else, the vivid ones hide the ports in plain sight.

Soundwave - MINONS! It's about damn time. It's a nice accent color, but the entire tires? Really?

All told, I'm liking this. Hasbro is making toys worth my time.

Airachnid could be better, but Im still buying it because there aren't many female Cons.

Dead End is my favorite of the bunch. Always liked the character, and it kinda looks like a Shattered Glass Prime Wheeljack, IMO.

Dreadwing is perfect, except for the gun. I hate the new Mechtech weapons; most of the DOTM ones were OK, but so far all these ones suck.

Bumblebee repaint is pointless.

I like the Voyager Soundwave, but since I already have the deluxe, I'll wait for the Soundblaster repaint.

And I'm just gonna get the regular Combaticons, not the SDCC box set. Too much money for me; I'd rather have a brightly colored one for about $50, rather than one with different colors thats double the price. Not worth it.

Holy crap! That head sculpt on Dead End has changed my perception from horrible figure to must have. It is freaking horrifying, and I love it.

Dreadwing looks amazing, and I'll definitely pick him up. Heck, looks like I'm picking up everything that isn't that Bumblebee repaint, and the weaponizers as I just have no place for them.

I really REALLY dislike the standard colors of Bruticus. They look awful and those bright colors make it such an eye sore to me. The regular version's colors will make him stand out from all of the other FOC figures shown so far. No thanks! This means I'll be springing for the SDCC version. I do agree with what someone said earlier though that the vivid colors at least draw the eye away from some it's flaws.

Dreadwing is the only one of the new Prime figures that is exciting.

Overall, I'm fairly impressed with all of the FOC figures (see Bruticus complaint above). But I'm on the fence about Voyager Soundwave. He just seems to close to the deluxe version. Sure, the minions are pretty cool and he is a voyager class now...but still may not be enough to justify picking him up too unless he's $20 (which I doubt). Oh well, this will save $$ since SDCC Bruticus will probably cost a lot. I'm torn though because Soundwave is one of my favorite characters!

Why wouldn't he be the standard Voyager price point?

I actually don't have any real reason to say that he would be more than $20. It just seems like Hasbro would market him at a slightly higher price because he comes with so much more than most voyagers who usually just come with a crappy mechtech/weaponizer thing. I hope I am wrong though! If that is the case then I'll be adding to my Soundwave collection! :-?

Dreadwing is the only one I am willing to look for out of the Prime line.

Airachnid has too much kibble, and I really do not like repaints for a repaint's sake.

Airachnid- yikes (and I don't mean in a good way). I'm guessing she's not that popular of a character so why spend the money on a voyager class? If they had though I think a few things could have happened:

1. She would be a triple-changer
2. She would actually have fully articulated legs/propellers (would be sweet to transform her in the form where she's in robot mode but walks with her spider legs)

Oh well Dreadwing looks sweet. I still haven't seen any of season 2 but he seems like a cool character. I would have liked to see a fully painted Breakdown but I trust he'll be shown in time. Found a cyberverse class Breakdown at the store and as long as they keep his show colors his voyager will be BOSS

Well, he actually only comes with Laserbeak. Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy and Ratbat are supposed to be 2 packs sold at the basic price point separately.

To hell with how many legs she's meant to have: Airachnid looks pretty good to me. I'll have one of them. Personally I think fans would be less disappointed if they stopped thinking about her as a triple-changer. I mean, does anyone regard RoTF Rampage as a quad-changer or Beast Machines Jetstorm as a triple-changer? Dead End I have no interest in unless he appears in the series. Dreadwing is perfect but for the the stupid weaponizer weapon. Come on 3rd parties, help us out.

They're actually setting it up where you can buy more stuff for an existing toy? Sweet! I hope they see this as a model worth maintaining. PCC was kneecapped by that "self-contained package" crap (I can't prove it, but I bet the gimpy automorphing was largely to make it cost effective as a set with another toy). And TF is no stranger to repaints where their weapons are the main selling point.

Hasbro doesn't make up arbitrary price points for toys depending on their accessories, they're very structured about how they price things. If he's revealed and marketed as a Voyager, he'll be on sale at Voyager pricing. That's not to say that Voyager pricing can't go up in the near future, but it means Soundwave will not be more expensive than other Voyagers because he has more accessories.

As for the rest of these reveals, I'm a little disappointed that's all we saw, but what we got, I mostly like. Dead End is about the only one that doesn't interest me, because he's just a random repaint and doesn't even resemble his G1 self. Airachnid could have been bigger but I like what they did with her as a deluxe, so she'll be a definite buy. Dreadwing's pretty sweet. Not as sweet as Skyquake would have been, but I'll take what I can get. And the rest I've already spoken about in other threads. Except Bot Shots. I want almost all of them. Especially Jazz. 8)

I really expected a lot more reveals though, especially for Prime. I feel like Hasbro is being really conservative in light of the FE fiasco. Maybe they're only showing off the few toys they know they can put out, so further releases will be a surprise. That, and SDCC is only a few months away.
