Whatever you want to name it, I would buy it at regular retail, that's a sharp looking figure. I wonder who they will release it as in Generations 2.0 with that head and a new paint job.
As is, peel off that red Decepticon logo and it would be a pretty decent Classics Freeway.

My hope for this set had just about run dry. But this makes it for me. Goes great with Universe 2.0 Hotshot.

It's not a bad looking figure, but yeah I'm disappointed it's not a G1 Treadshot homage. Like some other people mentioned, Warpath would make a pretty good Treadshot.
Although I think Classics Voyager Megatron with a remolded head and chest plate (for his little chamber and barrel chest sculpting) would've worked even better. I guess that mold is too verboten, even for an exclusive.

Now that is a good looking Transformer. Of course the mold is killer to begin with. After i've mercilessly scratched that oxymoron symbol off of his hood with a crude knife, I wonder which shelf I will be putting him on and as what character....

I do believe BotCon heads get destroyed after they are used. Hasbro wouldn't be able to use it.

I think SG figures like this and Tracks are designed to give us obscure but cool characters from past series. The names and faction emblems are more for storytelling than trying to represent the original character.

Wow, looking more and more like this set is gonna be a cheap one to pick up on the secondary market.

Must have been the only one expecting this Treadshot homage:

...kinda relieved.

Totally did not see this coming.
If you've read Exodus, wanna read the War For Cybertron comic? PM me.

I'm happy with this one, good mold and good paint job. For those complaining he isn't a gun, not all SG Transformers are from G1, just ask Demolisher:
My must have products from 2013
