I really hope some version of this makes it to retail. Strika was the best thing about Beast Machines and one of the only good things from Animated, and she needs more than just the Universe Nemesis Strika that adorns my shelf right now.

as Machine Wars-y as the G2 set then?

Ah well, I'm sure some people want a new version of Strika and this is as expensive a way to get them to buy one as any.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Prowl, Astrotrain, Ramjet, Skywarp, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Blurr, Perceptor, GDO Wheelie and Springer, or 3rd Party Motobot Arcee, FP Springer, iGear Ratchet and Ironhide, City Commander (and/or Ultra Magnus), Starscream (deluxe) Coronation add-on, or Spike and Daniel in their Exo-Suits.

Those things are okay, but that's about it. They seem like a step (or five) backwards to me after years of collecting toys that transform from a robot (like those things) to a vehicle of some kind ;)
