All of the logs were not of my char in that mission, and my char was no where to be seen.. yet taking damage..

Yeah, the problem seems to bewiht the reporting of the fight you entered, it happens but you just don't show up in the log. As N_V said, you still get the xp from them. It happened to me in last nights mission run...

Yeah, fixing the logs would be real nice.
Even the mission logs that 'look' like they are right, are way off.

For example, take this mission. Cenobyte vs. Headstrong.
Looks correct enough, until I tell you that 1. Headstrong hasn't been at level 7 for months: he's a level 8; and 2. Headstrong was put in a mission literally seconds after this one ended with a seeming stasis lock for Headstrong.

Same story with this recent mission, which seems to include Rampage. Once again, looks correct, but is far from it: Rampage isn't a level 6 but a level 7, and he hasn't been able to join ANY missions for the last couple of hours, due to having armor installed on him...

I'm theorizing about the cause of this bug, which seems to have started with the recent wiping of the mission logs. Are we perhaps getting linked to the results of a previously wiped set of mission logs?
Fact is that the actual missions that we ARE fighting are providing us with real XP and €, but they are happening in a complete limbo. And contrary to people thinking that they are sometimes getting real mission results, I'd argue that what they are seeing is nothing but a shadow of a mission fought long ago, and they just had the luck to have the mission number match up to a mission log number from long ago in which they also had a team member.

I'm not sure I agree with Alldarker's 'Ghosts of HMW Battles Past' theory, though I admit it is a possibility. I've also encountered the TF not in the battle varient, but... I sometimes change up my team's names and configurations and one of the times that I had one of my team in a battle and a different member appeared in the battle log, they didn't have that configuration at the time that would have matched the previous cycle of mission numbers.

What I suspect, personally, is that it might somehow be related to the fact that the XP Calculator in the 'help' section started going... wonky... and instead of allowing you to calculate Tactics as part of your theoretical config simply started displaying 'This Alt can use the following Tactics' and then showing tactic name, base XP cost and stat requirement if any, all in a little table between the alt selector and the stats, as well as not actually calculating the total XP spent and upgrades used... It did this all about the same time that the mission logs went pear-shaped, maybe about a day or so before...

I fail to see the relationship between the XP Calculator problems and these log problems. I made a bug report about the XP Calculator not working back on June 16th. While I'm pretty sure the logs have only been wrong since around July 8th / July 9th. In fact, ever since Ryan messed around with the mission generating system. Coincidence? I think not.

what he said again,
to check this out all we have to do is look for an item from the bragging thread (or any other) that show the same/expected info of the brag. This will show an old report is still showing for a new fight which is still happening but referring to the old log in the database.

That's a pretty good idea!

Right now, the lowest mission numbers bragged about in the previous complete log run (mission #00001 to #99999), before the most recent mission log wipe, are this mission (#3768) and this one (#3774). Unfortunately, we haven't reached those mission numbers yet with the current log run (I just entered mission #2480).
And, of course, the mission results we are seeing might be from a completed log run which was wiped even longer ago. Actually, considering the levels my own team-members are in the logs which are showing, and the levels they are actually at at the moment (for example level 5 in the mission log, but high level 6 at the moment), it might well be logs from even longer ago.

We should really keep a record of the dates when the mission log wipes happen. It's possible to guestimate each change by checking the brag thread, but it's not very accurate.

checking the bragging thread page 151 steve2275 posted a "logs are gone" on the 8th august 2010 and below that SS14 has a link to mission 811 which is not the correct fight he is reporting the brag.
so its not that log. i sure we have had 2 or 3 resets since then
im at work at the moment so will either look through the higher pages of the brag thread at home or just wait till alldarkers links turn up so we can check them

Not this one (#170) either, most probably a reset later than Zordon's in the previous post, from December 1st 2010. (Compare it with mission #170 in the current logs).

After that, the next log reset was around April 20th 2011, with the mission numbers I mentioned in my previous post.
