Good news for OC people! Went to the Laguna Niguel Target today to buy a new TV (15-inch hi-def for 150, you just CAN'T f*cking pass that up. Bought the last one), and of course I looked in the TF aisle! The Ultimate Bumblebee endcap isn't up, meaning their "reset" hasn't been done, but that didn't stop them from restocking on some things that I haven't seen since early June. No "important" figures, sadly (still looking for that Jazz, praying for a BB Concept, looking for Ironhide, etc.), and nothing hiding like last time (thanks for the Voyager Starscream, stupid employee!), HOWEVER: they fully restocked their Target Exclusive Scouts/Basics/Energon and Cybertron Repaints, and I picked up Hardtop, unwilling to pick up Arcee in hopes of finding a Deluxe one in the future. I should've picked up Skyblast, as I have the Energon Skyblast and he happens to be one of my favorites, and this repaint looks GREAT with the military colors. However, they do have every Scout you could imagine, so if you wanted Arcee Basic, pick her up now, boys and girls!

Also, they had 2 Unleashed Primes - not bad at all! Didn't pick one up because I don't particularly want one. On top of that, they have several Robot Heroes, but not just Thundercracker/Jazz! They happen to have at least 10 to 11 Optimus Prime/Unicron left (!!!), and of course I grabbed one!

Surprisingly though... they had no Real Gear. I was hoping to find High Score 100 or maybe even Meantime or Booster X-10 (keep forgetting to pick that little guy up every time I see him... he IS Lazerbeak), but nope! Nothing!

Other than one Zoom Out 10x... in hiding. Hmm.... are we going to start seeing Real Gear shortages too?! Come on, Hasbro, get it in gear!

August 9, 2007: I was at the Pasadena, CA Target store this morning and I bought the Movie Jazz G1 repaint, there weren’t anymore left. The purpose of this was to let you guys know that it is out there. I would have posted this on the sighting page but it didn’t have a picture of this figure. Thanks for your time.

South Bay NorCal sighting:

Target (Hillsdale Ave.) Bunch of Transformer Robot Replicas Barricade & Unleashed Primes.

TRU (Blossom Hill Rd.) Had one Payload from the new 09 Bumblebee wave and that was it. I had them check in back and were all out.

TRU (Winchester) nothing; they put new stock out last night and all of it was gone.

I'm stopping by the Mission Viejo Toys R Us tomorrow, OCers! I'll tell you what they have - the news of the refresh has me all giddy.

According to a friend looking on my behalf...

Union City Target - standardly devoid of voyagers and deluxes
Union City WM - same, but has scattered realgear and tech stuff

Fremont Target - Bought the last Titaniums, but there were a few deluxes. Didn't see 2nd wave stuff though

Edit: The Target in Puente Hills had 2 Ultimate Bumblebees. Almost forgot to mention that...

Hah, I used to live in Hacienda Heights, dude. Do the TRUs and Wal-Marts at least have any Classics leftovers in clearance? I'm gonna be up there tomorrow and I'm wondering if I should stop by those stores.


Oh, and yeah, I went to my local TRU, nothing noteworthy. They seem to have decreased shelf and peg space; the walls are completely full, but they're full of stuff like Real Gear and TECH Toys and Robot Replicas. Ugh.

Local Target, they haven't even stocked yet. I'll check after work to see if there's any new stuff.
