As of late a lot of new information about the upcoming <a href="http://webmaster.transformersmovie.com/click.html?c=FLINCG" target="_blank">Transformers Movie</a> video game has been released. Recently Callum Godfrey, producer at Activision for Transformers: The Game, did an interview with <a href="http://gamenewsi.com/index.php?itemid=4925&catid=1" target="_blank">Game News International</a>. GNI: Are there any innovations in the game we won't see anywhere else?

Callum: Big robots that turn in to vehicles to name just one! Also the level of environment interaction is incredible, with players able to pick up and utilize almost any object they see in the game world. Destruction is also pretty special in Transformers: The Game, showcasing the power and weight of the robots as they bring their war to our world.

This guy obviously needs to play more mecha games (and some of the older TF games)

Seriously though, Activision needs to show some actions instead screenshots, because to me the game looks and sounds like a GTA game with giant robots (and that ain't good ...)

IMO the one thing missing from GTA, as silly as it might be, were mechs, even transforming ones. So an open ended GTA like game with actual Transformers is just what I want.

a free roaming TF game like spider-man and GTA game will be awesome. iam just wondering if you can either run humans over or they simply just dodge you. were going to have to wait and see.
