Nope, I saw them yesterday. There're the planes, the animals, and the stunt driving vehicles.

Orillia Update

Postby Tusko » Wed Feb 21, 2007 9:37 am

Walmart and Zellers both have the wave II deluxe Classic transformers in Orillia.
No Jetfire.

Zellers also has Cybertron Metroplex on sale in the discount isle for $53.... not really a bargain but better than full price I suppose.

I'm looking for 6" titaniums and they don't seem to be coming outside of TRU. Is this correct?

Guess I'll have to go back and pester them again in a couple of days, thanks.

I went a few places today, didn't see anything new...

So, if you're not looking for newer stuff, I went to Square One, Erin Mills Town Centre and the Walmart at Argentia...

If you are looking for new stuff, try somewhere else (or knowing my luck these places will have just restocked the minute I left the stores).

Are any of the new minicons any good? I've grown tired of them with the many repaints and what not. But I've been eyeing a couple sets and just wondering if they're worth it.

They're worth it, if you can handle a little weirdness. The new guy they've got designing these things might be a little on the crazy side. The only set I've been really disappointed in so far is probably the Predator Attack Team. The tiger is terrible, the wolf is kinda lame, and the bird, while cool, doesn't quite make up for the terrible, terrible tiger.

I like the altmodes, but the robot forms just look terrible on pretty much all of the new Minicons so far. Just my opinion.

I hope they show up in Moncton soon... I really want the Predator team. I know everybody hates Snarl, the tiger, but I find him oddly cute. Sorta like that ugly little puppy in a litter that's sooo ugly, he's actually kinda cute...

So I haven't been here in a while. I see people have spotted the wave two minicons. I'm pretty sure this is news, so if someone would be so kind as to post some pics with a receipt I would gladly newsify that for you.

As for the wave three Classics, I've haven't seen Ramjet or Cliffjumper anywhere. Mind you wave two is literally overflowing out of my zellers.

Edit: Screw it, I'll post it as news and then if anyone could toss me a pic later that would be steller. I'll just say pictures are pending.

You know what the two packs saving grace was, that little black tab that spun primes upper torso like a hellicoptor. If you pull it out instead of pushing it in, it locks the upper half in place, making the figure a thousand times better. Megatron has his flaws, but if you just keep the arm straight it looks fine to me. Because Maywire (Azura now) told me about the tab, he's honestly one of my favorite classics.

Trust me, it makes a world of difference.

My friend and I found it shortly after we noticed it was missing. We found it crashed into a hydro pole, and it was missing some things from it. My camera, CDs, cell phone charger... a few other smaller things. It's not so much that someone stole my stuff, it's that it was taken from a party that housed all long time friends. Everyone there has known each other since at least high school, if not longer. The keys were taken by the host upon arrival and stored in his room. The painfully ironic thing is that the host of the party is a cop! Someone stole my keys from his locked room, and took my fourty thousand dollor truck for a drunken back road adventure and made a ten point landing in a snow filled ditch between a hydro pole and a bell communications box.

The only good thing to come of this, if you can even call it that, is that my friends wants to pay for all the damages to my truck because it was stolen from his house. I told him no, but he refused. I'm a very stubborn person with things like that, especially when it wasn't his fault at all. But he played the "on my mothers grave" card so I had to accept. Things like that make me glad I have noble friends left. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm trying to get some front row tickets to Wrestlemania for us. If he's stepping up to the plate, I feel that I should do the same.

Fun fact about Classics Skyfire - try giving him Vector Prime's missile! He'll be able to shoot VP's missile further than and faster than his own. Aww yeah.

I went into my local TRU yesterday (Langley) with the SKU's for Jetfire, Ramjet and Cliffjumper. They told me that the new wave had arrived but was still in the warehouse awaiting unpacking. Some good news for British Columbians as it looks like the newest classics will hit shelves anyday now!

Legends Action Figures has Classics Cliffjumper, but they sold out on Ramjet.

They also have a sale on Basic Titaniums, 2 for $10.

I tapped out and bought 6" Cheetor from the Snail. This is the first Titanium I'm overall not pleased with. His cat tail dangles down between his legs in bot' mode and is the first 6"er to not have wrist articulation. the head sculpt is nice I suppose, but not really it's saving grace. If your a fan of BM then I would recommend it, but if not, wait until it's on sale (or don't get it at all)
