Sharkticon, any of the molds used to bring that idea of a marine themed killer to life was fun (I just realized that is the exact same reason for Skybyte).

WOW, never in my life have the shelves been this well stocked at TRU. Maybe it's because no one would buy this stuff at those prices (especially the G2 Optimus, that box is so small, you arent getting much for 200$!!!). But still, its really cool to see all this awesome stuff at once (being in quebec, this is the first time we get the platinums, it adds a lot of variety to shelves). Hopefully it stays that way when Combiner Wars wave 2 comes around and the rest of the generations figures as well, and the other more desirable platinum sets.

All 4 Combiner Wars wave 2 deluxe class toys were spotted in Canada at a Walmart in Laval (on Saint Martin). This wave includes Air Raid, Dead End, Offroad and Breakdown. These are priced at 19.92 $ cdn and do not include the comic book due to language laws.

Looked at my local TRU last night and didn't find wave 2 but it did look they just got a wave 1 restock. Limbs were mostly gone but torsos were in good stock, and snaged the last Powerglide. Now to see If i can get my FansProject Superion to hold him.

I saw a boatload of Leader Jetfire on clearance at the TRU at Dufferin Mall in Toronto. 38.40$ and about 7 or 8 of them in the adult collectibles area in the video game department. I was there on Sunday.

Edit: Oh, you mean Jetfire. And no, hes not a shelfwarmer in any way. A shelfwarmer is only called that when they overlap with a new line. If by the end of this year, there are still plenty of Jetfires among the Megatrons, Thundercrackers and Ultra Magni, then he'll rightfully be a shelfwarmer. But right now, he is by no means a shelfwarmer by any definition of the word. It's the only Gen leader available for crying out loud.

And guys, we were joking about the horrendous prices on the platinum sets and that they would be there forever but in just one week, my TRU sold out of all the insecticons, Optimi and Soundwaves. I dont know if its all to scalpers. But if it is, those guys are idiots. They are still readily available online with free shipping.

Honestly, for around here, I know there are toy scalpers. Somethings go so fast the only way is if someone is buying multiples the mornings they hit the shelves.

As my TRU is on the same block as my townhome, I can go in everyday without needing much time, to do so. Back when the MP Soundwave came out, I was in almost everyday, and I would have sworn they never got them except for a defective one that was returned which I asked about. I found that they had put the full shipment they received out and were all gone within about an hour of opening. I should have offered to just take the cassettes...... Not like Hasbro really checks when TRU asks for credit, otherwise they would pay more attention when scammers "return" some of the crap we see on some shelves.

So how much do scalpers think people will pay for these thigns then? I really doubt the room needed to store these boxes is worth it for all the time it takes for them to be worth more than they were sold at.

And like I said, they are available online at the same price + free shipping, so why not just buy them online (one per day) instead of going to the store and hauling them all.
