I agree with everything you said mesh ;)^

I kept mine though, just for the sake of having it. I do like Megs' tank mode, he'll probably never transform ever again. Optimus will never spin again!!! The DVD is at the bottom of my collection.

I was Agincourt Mall (Sheppard/Kennedy) last week, there wan't much, an opened Primus, 3 Classics Optimus, 12 Titanium Hot Rods, 7 Titanium Thundercrackers, 1 Classic Bumblebee, and a few SWTFs...think I saw Jango Fett, didn't pick him up.

I just ordered Ramjet and Mirage from Kooltoyz. They've also got Cliffjumper and Grimlock listead as in-stock. I mention them because they're a Canadian retailer. They have an $8.99 (can) flatrate shipping, which works out better if you order more since you're paying the same.

I've purchased a couple of things from them so far, and have had excellent service:

Well the last Astrotrain is gone from the Brossard TRU, so maybe they'll finally restock Classics. Jetfire and Mirage will be mine!

Hey, what's up with the Legends of Classics? They're a full dollar more expensive than Legends of Cybertron!

Just picked up Classics Jetfire and Titanium Soundwave at TRU (not sure if Jetfire's been sighted there yet...). Jetfire rocks, a fine way to end the line for me. Soundwave's about the same as most Titanium's, cool looking, but some problems. My biggest problem is getting his legs to stay straight in robot mode. I really dig the tape deck mode though (then again, I've never had a tape deck Soundwave, so this is new for me). Laserbeak's underwhelming at best.

Well, wave 2 has FINALLY hit the west coast. I saw Mirage and Grimlock at Zellers in Langley and the Langley TRU has a couple of Mirages. Still no fickafrackin' Jetfires tho...

Haven't seen any of the new titaniums yet. The $40 Primus is still rocking steady at all of the TRU in the LowerMainland. Any other tf hunters in the Vancouver area let me know whats around in your neck of the woods.

On a side note I have a few Magnus vs. Skywarp Packs for sale. PM me if you're interested. or just look here:

I haven't seen them, nor Wave II regular Classics, in Quebec yet. Damn, I want my Jetfire and Mirage!!

EDIT: Ramjet, Mirage, Grimlock, and Cliffjumper are now at Legends Action Figures in Montreal! I haven't visited them since before Christmas, I better head on down there soon!

I picked up some of the wave 2 minicons at the Brampton TRU. Other than that, they had the usual wave 1 & 2 things, plus a million of Primus.

On Cybertron.ca, they're saying Ramjet and Cliffjumper are at various Walmarts (Sherway Gardens and one in London)... I may check around over the next few days...

Booyeah! Classics Wave II has reached southern Quebec!

TheTouch and I went to the Brossard TRU, where we found Mirage, Jetfire, and Wave 2 Mini-Cons. I guess someone else grabbed the last Grimlock. I got Skyfire and Mirage, I'm happy!

I found the Predator and Clear Skies teams at TRU yesterday in Saint John, but the third of the wave 2 teams was nowhere to be found. Did they sell out super fast, or were they shortpacked, or what? Anyone else having trouble finding them?

Nope, I saw them yesterday. There're the planes, the animals, and the stunt driving vehicles.

Orillia Update

Postby Tusko » Wed Feb 21, 2007 9:37 am

Walmart and Zellers both have the wave II deluxe Classic transformers in Orillia.
No Jetfire.

Zellers also has Cybertron Metroplex on sale in the discount isle for $53.... not really a bargain but better than full price I suppose.

I'm looking for 6" titaniums and they don't seem to be coming outside of TRU. Is this correct?

I went a few places today, didn't see anything new...

So, if you're not looking for newer stuff, I went to Square One, Erin Mills Town Centre and the Walmart at Argentia...

If you are looking for new stuff, try somewhere else (or knowing my luck these places will have just restocked the minute I left the stores).

Are any of the new minicons any good? I've grown tired of them with the many repaints and what not. But I've been eyeing a couple sets and just wondering if they're worth it.

They're worth it, if you can handle a little weirdness. The new guy they've got designing these things might be a little on the crazy side. The only set I've been really disappointed in so far is probably the Predator Attack Team. The tiger is terrible, the wolf is kinda lame, and the bird, while cool, doesn't quite make up for the terrible, terrible tiger.

I like the altmodes, but the robot forms just look terrible on pretty much all of the new Minicons so far. Just my opinion.

I hope they show up in Moncton soon... I really want the Predator team. I know everybody hates Snarl, the tiger, but I find him oddly cute. Sorta like that ugly little puppy in a litter that's sooo ugly, he's actually kinda cute...

So I haven't been here in a while. I see people have spotted the wave two minicons. I'm pretty sure this is news, so if someone would be so kind as to post some pics with a receipt I would gladly newsify that for you.

As for the wave three Classics, I've haven't seen Ramjet or Cliffjumper anywhere. Mind you wave two is literally overflowing out of my zellers.

Edit: Screw it, I'll post it as news and then if anyone could toss me a pic later that would be steller. I'll just say pictures are pending.

You know what the two packs saving grace was, that little black tab that spun primes upper torso like a hellicoptor. If you pull it out instead of pushing it in, it locks the upper half in place, making the figure a thousand times better. Megatron has his flaws, but if you just keep the arm straight it looks fine to me. Because Maywire (Azura now) told me about the tab, he's honestly one of my favorite classics.

Trust me, it makes a world of difference.
