In this scenario, G1 Carbombya decides to invades Gundam 00's Azadistan. Ever since the Carbombya seems to have no military to speak of but plenty of oil money, they decide to hire MECH from TF Prime to assist them in combat and reverse engineeing Mobile Suits. Carbombya also allowed G1'a "2006 tech."

Ground rules:
1. No Transformers, Celestial Being, Earth Sphere federation forces, etc allowed, but each side has a "consultant." Carbombya has G1 Swindle, but only can only use him as an arms dealer. Azadistan has the morally questionable option of hiring Ali Al-Saachez as a consultant anytime during the invasion.
2. Carbombya must conquer Azadistan within 2 calendar years, or Azadistan wins its freedom.
3. No MECH reverse engineering of TFs allowed. Their tech is on the level of their encountered with the Autobots.

Can two 21 century group conquer a 2307 AD nation?

MECH doesn't like up-front encounters, which is probably for the best because if their tech is on par with what they had in season 1, they are very technologically outmatched. We're talking about almost 300 years of technological advancement, to the point that the three main superpowers can cook up a fresh batch of 50-foot-tall war machines (Which, by that point, have replaced jets and tanks) any time they please.

On the flip side, Azadistan is the runt of 00's political litter, to the point that one guy (Ali!) burned down the entire country by himself. That, and I think Marina is a total idiot. (Oh, you don't want that gun because you never want to resort to violence? Tell that to the guys who were about to shoot the orphans you now plan on defending unarmed)

You know what, I was planning on writing this saying Azadistan would win, but honestly now I think it would be MECH.

It definitely would be MECH hands down.
