I'll find Phaze eventually, I know a few bolt holes he has. Just a shame he's Facebook-phobic otherwise organising this crap would be easy lol.

Now we just need to work out where we all are and where our next gig can be... (And resubmit Psych. etc. once I'm back to a real pc on Sunday)

Yeah what Sid said. Things kinda fell apart, but Phaze and I stuck around until Phaze had to go recently. As for your little terror of a cassetticon...last I remember...let's see. Crueljaw had stuck him in a leg locker. (Very dignified) And he's still there. So he should be down on earth in the mess with the Fallen.

Landgrab is somewhere in the Fallen melee also. He's trying so hard to be helpful, and likely not doing very well at it. :P

I'll try to check back in with him soon.

Landgrab is still about too? Awesome. I'll have a catch up and get this party started as soon as I can then

Sorry Sumo, missed your question here. I only really use fan-made characters, I did try Shockwave a looooong time ago, but I was rubbish with him. I just find it easier to get into the head of original characters.

Hello everyone! I'm new to this place and I have lots of questions!

I really like the concept of this RP and I've been doing a lot of reading. From what I know, this is set in G1. But I only found that in one place, so can someone confirm it?

I also read that Custom Transformers are allowed, but Canon are encouraged. I wanted to ask if Transformers introduced in other continuities are allowed if I make G1 versions of them. The reason I asked is because I really like Triage from Transformers Universe and its set in Prime, so is that possible? I'll try to balance out his specs as much as possible.

And yay for Transformers :)

Welcome to the forums, Niteblade!

To answer your question, this series is indeed G1. It started out as vaguely based in IDW comics but that only really applies to certain characters' backstories and events like the seeding of Regenesis Ores to explain energon on Earth.

Characters from other Transformers series are usually acceptable if they aren't game-breakingly powerful (e.g. Waspinator is a Decepticon Insecticon here, rather than one of their descendants). As a newbie you won't have access to very powerful characters yet... and since Triage's only existing fiction is the Transformers Universe game, you'd probably have to use the custom character sheet if you wanted to play him.

Have fun when you start playing!

We enjoy answering questions even if you have ten or more. The mods are rather easy going especially for new players. One of the biggest things though is no signatures.

I'm sorry, HMW became stale and couldn't keep any programmers. I miss the BW factions probably due to me being one of the Maximal leaders. I still believe having a four way would have kept things interesting if the system could have handle it.

A few years ago in the HMW game they tried to have four factions. They used the classic G1 Bots and Cons and then added the Preds and Maxs from BW. Sadly the server couldn't handle it for whatever the reason so they had to remove the Predacons and Maximals. I was one of the Maximal leaders. They had it set up where each faction would go up against each other.

The game numbers couldn't handle it, the servers were absolutely fine. There just wasn't enough players in the game to support 4 sides, as the beast factions had less than a quarter of the G1 factions numbers so had to go. Either way its still a fun game, as 'Sid well knows.

OH yeah, I had maybe 20 at most for Maximals and quite often the missions were a 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 on a good day. Preds weren't much better.

The "busy" has started back up again. I've already been to an audition and was asked to team teach at another gym (that was this past thursday). Aaaaand I was asked to come back and team teach again in two weeks. So it seems good that I may possibly be hired by another gym. (go me!)

I already got my two tracks to study and learn for my BodyPump initial training this coming weekend and I got a chance to teach one of the tracks this past saturday with my boss. Went well but I had only looked at my choreography twice....so that wasn't too good, but at least my timing was good. So that should account for something.

So this week...work monday night, practice rest of the week for Pump. Oh and I still need to keep practicing for RPM since we're going to be launching a new release this weekend. (can't wait for that. although I won't be here for it. BOO)

I'll be on my way to New Jersey friday. My training starts saturday morning at 10am and goes through till 7pm. Then back again at 8am to 5pm on sunday. Then it's home for me on monday.

So yeah, I'll be a wee bit busy.

Initial Training for BodyPump is now over. 16 hours of weight lifting and presentations. It was tough but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat!

Next on the agenda...team teaching at Brick Bodies this Thursday. So it's back to RPM training for several days so I'm ready for that.

I haven't been able to read up on what's been going on in game. So it'll take be a while to catch up. Unless y'all are willing to sum things up...

Nothing overly major with the exception of Devestator showing up against Fallen. Hot Spot and the Protectobots will try to keep the fixer ups off of First Aid and Ratchet so you won't have to worry too much about the injuries. Garrus-9 hasn't changed too terribly much. I'm not sure what other threads you follow.

How many mechs know about Jhilax and his gestalt projects? I would figure Shockwave would know of it intimately considering he was a pupil of the mad scientist. Maybe some of the higher ups like Megatron, Optimus Prime, maybe Ultra Magnus or Prowl but can't see any of the special teams commanders having much intimate knowledge. The best I can see is rumors or myths unless there is one who is a study of ancient Cybertronian history.

I figure many mechs wouldn't know anything at all about his gestalt project. Anything they would know about it would most likely be just rumors and speculations. The bots in Garrus marveled at the sight when Monstructor formed, mostly because it's the first time it has happened in a LONG time. I mean, after Jhiaxus' imprisonment, I'm sure his research documents weren't distributed to both sides for study. The Constructicons only got to where they are today is because they're an ambitious bunch.

That's just what I believe, mods could say otherwise >:oP

So training for BodyPump has been progressing...a set back due to medication put a small dent into it but I'm back on track. Learned 3 tracks in 2 hours. Only 4 more tracks to learn before putting it together and then taping.

I've also team taught on 3 occasions...this past Thursday the most recent...and I was asked to teach the entire class next week. From there the instructor will get in touch with the manager to see what my next step will be...hopefully I'll hear "You'll need your own mic..." which will basically mean I'm hired.

I also stopped at a Merritt Athletic Club. Seems they'll be in need of Pump instructors for subbing soon and they could be interested in adding an RPM class....fingers crossed I get a call on Monday.

Lots going on and more to come.

So much fun!

Just got the date for the launch of our new Pump...next Saturday. Might be team teaching might mirror (wish I knew) not to mention it's a themed launch...not even sure what the theme is yet. So I still need to learn 4 more songs before next Saturday!

Also concluded my team teaching with a master instructor for RPM. She said I've gotten better with each ride and she'll be writing up an evaluation. In the meantime she suggested I take at least 4 RPM classes a week to work on my dialogue and stamina.

Already have that scheduled out. Two different gyms during the week for RPM. Not to mention the other classes I take regularly and the class I teach Monday nights. Plate full to near overflowing!

So yeah. I gave you one post today. I'm hoping to get another one up soon-ish. Maybe by the time I have my surgery I'll have gotten caught up. (let's hope before since that'll be in December)

Hey all! Just wanted to post this regarding the "rock lords" that the Fallen recently created. For starters, these aren't the same rock lords from the '80s. I just thought it would be neat the call them that as a sort of homage. They have no individual identities and for the most part they're just mindless rock creatures. Also, there are about two dozen of them and they are 40-50 feet tall, so they're around the size of Sixshot. Plus, their only weapons are clubs, spears or axes made of rock. They CANNOT shoot lasers or breathe fire just in case anyone's wondering. ;)

The "rock lords" can be treated as NPC cannon fodder much in the same way as the multitude of nameless sweeps, vehicons or other background characters that have been utilized in the game. So, make hits on them, control them, blow them apart, whatever fits your fancy. Be creative, but more importantly, have fun! :D

Anyway, cool visual and cool homage. Never saw it coming.

And for those who don't know what the homage is a nod to, here's a look at the awesomeness of yesteryear

I used to have that Rock Lord/GoBot movie; my aunt had taped that for me as a kid. But I don't have it anymore... I think I might have ditched it in a clean up or something.

Boo! Hiss! A few episodes of Dinosaucers was on that tape as well! :BANG_HEAD:

Yeah, all my VHS tapes have gone the way of the Dodo.

Dinosaucers were fun. I haven't seen that show since I was a kid, but it had a good intro theme. Rock Lords never got the same love. Probably deservedly so, in hindsight haha.
